Really lovely restaurant in a not too busy area of Pasadena. Service was exceptional and truly felt like fine dining. Very diverse menu of food and we enjoyed everything from the Octopus to the Hangar Steak and Pork Chop.

I had a wonderful dinner at Bistro 45 on Saturday. Following a starter of Little Gems salad I enjoyed the rack of lamb. The lamb was perfectly cooked and deliciously flavorful, nicely complemented by a colorful medley of vegetables and accompanied by a fine glass of Burgundy. For desert I had the extremely decadent Chocolate Soup and a Chamomile tea.
Bistro 45 is notable not just for its fine food and excellent wines, but also due to the quality of service, comfort and friendliness. The restaurant is a credit to Robert, Avery and the excellent staff. My wife and I will be back soon.

Bistro 45 is one of my favorite restaurants. Friendly Staff, great food, and excellent customer Service. We know everybody by First name, and whenever we go there it feels like home. Robert treats his staff and customers like family. We definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a while, we always drive by and comment how inviting the building looks, and the reviews are so great. The food was fantastic, hence the 2 stars instead of 1. The greatness of the experience ended there. Our server essentially ignored us after we ordered. He provided excellent, attentive, and anticipatory service to multiple tables around us. In our case, no water was offered after the empty water bottle was removed from the table by the server in front of our empty water glasses. Additionally, the side dish he forgot to order was delivered after the entree, without any acknowledgement of the mistake. He never checked on us to see how the meal was, or if we needed a second cocktail or glass of wine as our meal progressed. We wanted dessert, because it sounds amazing, but we felt as if our server didn't want us there. Luckily, Pasadena is filled with many other fantastic restaurants that make my husband and I feel welcomed. Order carryout if you don't want the magic to fade.

Not only was the food, ambiance and service exemplary BUT I had made a note when booking that my dad is a veteran and would appreciate a quiet table. They not only listened but were so very gracious to him. Cannot recommend this enough!

Average $90 per person. The food wasn't that great except for the wine & the friendly waiters. I ordered Seared Hudson Valley Magret Duck Breast. It was a mistake the duck meat tasted like from the freezer storage plus they added sweet blackberry jam was too sweet. If you have a chance to go to the French restaurant in Trocadéro Café Kléber try their Magret de canard Duck breast, c'est magnifique!
