Do you like ice cream? This is the correct place

I don't understand why this place isn't packed every time I get ice cream from here! It is better than any chain like Baskin - Robbins or Handels, as they make the ice cream with honey. The staff are nice, give you samples, and help you with any queries you might have.

Parking: Hard to find parking, either on the street or in the Subway parking lot.

This place has great Michigan-inspired flavors, very nostalgic if you've lived there. Most of the flavors are far to sweet for me, but the ice cream is very high quality, and they have a nice patio so its a nice experience. They have cute tabletop games too.

Most of the people that work there are nice, the owners are sweet, but a few of the snarky teenage girls seem annoyed to be bothered. One blonde girl can't seem to figure out how to scoop ice cream (literally), and is quite rude. A few times she's told us cones can't hold two scoops (other employees do 2 scoops fine). Another time the (single scoop) ice cream was falling off the cone as she handed it to me. She said 'oh its falling off, here's a cup' - but refused to adjust it (or redo it?). Crazy that at an ice cream shop, cones are apparently too much to ask for.

My kid and I have been coming here once every week after school as a reward, but I think we're going to start looking for another place to get a treat. We come for the atmosphere but the eye-rolling teen employees ruin it.

Great Altadena location for ice cream! Since you couldn't enter through the rear door, parking was quite simple. We parked in the back and then walked to the front. The line wasn't that long. Each of us sampled a few tastes. They had both options, but I went with ice cream instead of fro yo. I ordered chocolate chip coffee. I would absolutely return because I really enjoyed the ice cream.

I loved how they had several mouthwatering vegan options for both ice cream and cookie dough. I got the 50/50 birthday cake ice cream with cake batter cookie dough (can you tell I like cake haha). Although super aesthetic and full of colorful sprinkles, it was cloyingly sweet. Maybe that's just because of the flavors I got though ?‍♀️

Delicious! The worker was very kind! Definitely try the Key Lime Pie!

Fantastic ice cream. Professional, and friendly service. But this place is soooo loud. Couldn't understand a word my friends were saying.
