Taylor was so responsive and flexible. We had to edit our budget and guest count a few times Taylor was always ready and willing to help us find solutions that worked best for us. They also have super customizable packages for every budget.Honestly, the tasting was tremendous, the day of service and staff phenomenal ( I was never not without a fresh cocktail in my hand) and the food was so so tasty. The wedding was almost a month ago and I'm still getting compliments on the food. We are so thankful to Border Grill for helping our wedding be flawless!!!

I am writing this review wayyyy too late (a little over 2 years after my wedding) and it has been eating me away inside because I need to give Border Grill all the praise they deserve. As a wedding planner myself, I had worked with Border Grill previously and found them to be so easy to work with as well as extremely professional. They always had the absolute best food so I knew when I was getting married they were at the top of my list! My husband at the time was hesitant as he isn’t the biggest fan of Mexican food even though I explained to him several times that it's a delicious modern fusion. Once we had our tasting he was sold! Taylor was so great to work with and so flexible with all our requests. We of course had to add on the churro tots for desserts as well as late night tamales. Nothing was left from either of those stations! We did a plated dinner and our guests could not stop raving about the choices, especially the short rib, it was a huge hit!

Everything about our experience with BG Catering was perfect. From the early planning stages to the night of the event (bat mitzvah party with ~115 guests), BG was on top of it and spot on in their execution. Working with Taylor pre-event was great; working with chef Monica and captain Chelsea at the event was seamless. They helped accommodate all of our requests and the price was very reasonable for everything. The food & drink were amazing and guests (and hosts) were very happy. Highly recommend!

We just had a party with approximately 110 guests, and Border Grill was perfect in every way. First of all, working with Taylor prior to the event was fantastic. Planning a party like this was um...STRESSFUL! But Taylor always put us at ease, answering our questions quickly and making us feel like she understood what we wanted. She paid careful attention to our guests' allergies, especially the nut concerns which are a big deal in our family. And she took our general concept for a "Make Your Own Mocktail Bar" for the teens and creatively ran with it. Even the adults were into it! Then when it came time for the party, Chelsea and her team went above and beyond. They were on point the whole night, super professional and just on top of every detail. They were calm yet festive and helped to set the tone for the party. We had so many comments about how tasty everything was, from the apps to the drinks to the main course. The mocktail bar was awesome, and my wife now has a new favorite margarita (passionfruit). The Border Grill team even helped us put the trays of leftovers in our car after it was all over - classy service from the start of the party to the final moment. All and all, Border Grill gave us exactly what we wanted. We're going to try and have another massive party so we can hire them again!

Border Grill catered my wedding at SmogShoppe in March 2023 and it was perfect. Working with Taylor was a dream, the food was sooooooooo good, and everything went smoothly at the event. My guests LOVED THE FOOD, they all told me. I have a hard time finding good vegetarian tacos and these potato tacos were amazingggggg. Other big hits were the hostess cupcakes, corn esquite, and margaritas. The tasting we did with my sister was also a really fun and relaxing experience. Highly HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

I think for those of us getting married during/shortly after a global pandemic, it feels like most wedding vendors are too swamped to really give their all to any client, but not Border Grill. Every step of the way they were on top of the ball, detail oriented, and had excellent communication. My husband and I felt like they truly cared about making our wedding day a positive experience for us. The wedding day ran incredibly smoothly and the service team was very friendly. Best of all, our guests raved about the food and many told us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! Thank you Border Grill!

Both my husband and I have always loved Border Grill food back when it was open in DTLA. We decided to have this catered for our post-wedding family lunch and everyone loved the food. Taylor Mochizuki was such a fantastic point person to work with. She answered all the questions I had over the span of a few months & helped me make multiple last minute accommodations to our order. All the communication was easy and quick, we were able to provide food for all our guests with dietary restrictions. Our guests didn't stop raving about the food and left happy & full!
