This was my go to burrito place. I've lived here since 2017 and it took me a couple years to find Burrito Express. I would go there once a week for the Ross Perot - what an amazing burrito.
All was great until I saw my doctor. High blood pressure! You see, I'd go on 15-20 mile hikes on the weekend (up in the mountains all over southern CA). I thought I could eat anything I wanted, because I was burning it all off. My doctor told me otherwise. So it's been a little over a year of no pork, lard, minimal vegetable oils and deep fried foods. Well ... I've had a little here and there, but I had to cut out almost all the Mexican food.
In the past year, I think I've only had three Ross Perot's and I'm super sad! Everywhere I've lived in So Cal, I've had my go to burrito joint.
By the way, the staff here is phenomenal! Great people, friendly, caring and they make a great burrito.
I'll be by for my quarterly burrito soon. I just wish I could go back to eating one every week!

Great place for breakfast burritos was visiting the area and we found burrito express was open before any other place nearby. The food is great, authentic, not super greasy and good price for amount you get.

This place is worth going to. The very nice lady at the place went with a couple of friends and she treated us super affectionately and super kindly, always willing to help us choose the food and with a lot of respect. I really liked the delicious orchata they make there. I'm really glad to have been there and I hope to return very quickly.

Love this place. I used to live in Pasadena and this was the place to go. Now I live in ontario and I sneak away there every time I am around the area. I'm simple, chorizo burrito or a bean and cheese and I am good. The hot sauce is so tasty and the service is always welcoming. I knew the owner and some of the staff. I recommend this place for a great burrito. All there food is delicious.

Got a bean rice and cheese burrito from here and it was amazing. Their red salsa is probably the best salsa I've ever tried. Also reasonable prices
An absolutely classic-in-all-the-right-ways burrito spot. The food is delicious, simple, and well-made. The staff are friendly, and always remember my friend and I whenever we come back (which is nearly weekly at this point!) The prices are incredibly fair and reasonable. This is a true gem that you will not regret. Try the "Ross Perot" and add fries, give the "Smash Burger Taco" a try, as it's totally unique and delicious. I hope this place never changes. Perfection.

This is a "tiny", but great little spot! It's right on the corner and there's only two parking spaces....but plenty of on-street parking.Staff were friendly, service was quick, and the food was good.I recommend the Ross Perot (and do it Vic style).....but be prepared....it's a lot of food (so don't let the price dissuade you). We'll definitely be back!
