what i like about Cabreras 1st the awesome service. 2nd the best mexican food that is made with love. and what makes so good is the great music they have it's like eating at home which makes feel like your with family. keep up the great family feeling. oh and when I asked for something that's not on the menu you make it just like eating at home..

Staff Treats you like if you're a 5-year-old and when explaining. I'm a grubhub driver, and I'm aware that restaurants love to only help their inside customers. But when it comes to online orders, they always give you the run around how they didn't receive it. No staff isn't paying attention to the orders coming in. And making the drivers wait, and that's not cool, because we get compensated differently. Please make sure your staff monitors the online orders. So we're not wasting the driver's time. Thank you

Went for lunch but the waiters looked like they wanted to leave. T hff e were I too much of a hurry. I felt like maybe we should of just went through a drive thru. Not happy ??

The service was the only thing that saved (somewhat) this experience. The food was legitimately one step above Taco Bell but honestly I’d prefer Taco Bell. Overpriced. Obviously frozen meat. Chewy, undercooked flour tortillas in the flautas and taquitos. We spent almost $60 bucks for one margarita and a really almost inedible appetizer medley. Even if more reasonably priced I’d go elsewhere.

Absolutely, horrible service. THIS WAS OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE HERE AT THIS LOCATION IN PASADENA. The bus boy was very quick to give us our chips and salsa, but the waitress, Kimberly, DID NOT even approach us after FIFTEEN MINUTES or even bothered to be friendly or say hello to us. we finally ordered drinks, but we then waited another FIFTEEN MINUTES to get the drinks and place an order, as we were burning our mouths off from the salsa. We then proceed to watch our waitress serve an INCOMING table of 40 people rather than us. We continued to wait a whole THIRTY minutes and saw other tables get nachos and appetizers when one of my guests waited for the ceviche appetizer to arrive. We then told the busy boy to see what is going on, and his response was implying that our WAITRESS did not want to even talk to us and that there was “confusion in the kitchen” and that our order HAD NOT BEEN PLACED. The manager Dylan was nice to us and offered a full meal on the house next visit, but we kindly declined to return and decided to leave. We are not gonna return to location at all. I WOULD GIVE THIS LOCATION A ZERO STAR IF I COULD. Also if you dare to visit this place DONT SIT IN CORNER BOOTH by the rear entrance, they don’t bother to look at you and basically forget about you. In July, my wife and I visited Cabrera's Pasadena for the first time . We loved it so much, we invited 5 of our friends there for dinner last night. Abby was our main server on both occasions. She is the nicest person and provides excellent guest service. In fact, the entire staff and management are so friendly and attentive. Our group ordered Cabrera's Botana, trio fajitas, camarones, Asada Mexico, and Molcajete. We all loved everything. Portions are large as well. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. The drink menu has a good variety from soft drinks to beer, wine, margaritas, and other alcoholic options. Plenty of free parking in the lot behind the building or on the street as well. Highly recommend.

I rarely give a perfect score, so if I do know that it was earned! This gem was an accidental find. The food was great. The service was great. Some friends and I took a chance and decided to try another Mexican restaurant. Boy, were we rewarded. I got the mole chicken enchiladas plate. So good. Sometimes, getting mole is risky because you don't know how it's going to taste. The food was delicious and filling. I couldn't even finish it all. Salsa and chips were delicious while waiting for the main dish, and don't get me started on the guacamole. These professionals really take pride in their jobs. Hats off to everyone who perfected the meal and experience.

It’s Mexican food to be honest , pretty acceptable but mostly taste homemade but you can definitely taste where they made budget cuts . Also entering through the back is kind of awkward because you don’t know where to go or who to talk to and they just stand around until you catch someone’s attention. If they lowered the prices definitely then worth it .

Very slow service and food takes long to come out.

The staff is disastrous and just as bad as the waiter and the manager.
We feel DISCRIMINATED.
We ordered michelada and a beer AND we showed our IDs from our countries and their stupid rules did not accept any IDs from another country.
Don't go consuming if you don't have a California ID because they won't sell you alcohol.
I am Mexican and I feel sorry for their stupid rules.
Ridiculous!
