Chicken was raw, and the worker was really rude. We told him our food was raw and he was very ignorant and uncaring, and looked uninterested. Please cook your chicken properly next time! We saw the worker kept touching the food with his hands and checking if it was raw or not before serving. Gross!!! He told us to report it to the FDA and we did

Served me raw chicken, I asked for a refund and they wouldn’t give one, they were very rude. I got sick afterwards and this is not safe for a restaurant. Terrible health standards here do not recommend.

Insanely underrated place. Was super sad when they closed down the Little Tokyo location. Hands down best Katsu curry in LA county. Have had about 70% of the menu and not a single item has been a miss so far. If you love Japanese curry you NEED to go! You will not be disappointed!

Curry rice for lunch is so yummy. Enjoying the weather too!
I tried:
1. Pork katsu curry rice
2. Beef minced katsu
Took the curry to go. It’s not like the golden brand curry. It leans more towards that gravy stuff you get in a tiny saucer at some Korean places.

I have not had a good Japanese style curry since my last trip to Japan in February. Champions Curry was amazing! It made me feel like I was back in Osaka. The service was very good and the wait was not long at all. There are only about 8 dine in seats, but luckily, most of the people there were ordering to go, so I had a nice spot to sit and eat this very delicious curry. I had the Chicken Katsu, and it was awesome!

Super friendly staff, quick service and delicious food! Got the pork katsu with the standard curry sauce. Would definitely recommend!
The hamburg meat and pork katsu were so tender and delicious!! And the staff was very friendly:] The only thing was the chairs were very uncomfortable.
So, it's not as inviting to stay and dine in :/

美味しかった!Their curry has a variety of flavors, not just the regular boring saltiness, and tastes fresh!
We had the chicken and pork katsu, wagyu and side sausage, the katsu could be juicer but all were tasty!
Good portion size too :) Def recommend it for a Japanese curry craving day ?

Had a great lunch here. Very good curry, but more than that the pork katsu was cooked perfectly. Too often the fried pork is dry because of it being overcooked, but the one I got was juicy and tender.
The place itself is very casual. Fast service, only counter seats, not much space. Great for a quick lunch.
I would highly recommend this place.

Been seeing this place on social media a lot lately so I was really curious about trying it. I was able to come here for lunch one day. There is a paid parking lot in the same building, or paid street parking if you can find it. The inside is pretty small, theres only 5-6 seats. I came here with a friend, and there was not enough seats for the both of us. After we ordered, it took maybe 5-10 minutes for our food to be ready. In that time some seats opened up so we were able to dine in. I ordered the pork katsu. While ordering I asked the cashier if the spicy was really spicy and they said yes so I got the original. The original is not spicy at all. She said I can just add the chili thats on the counter to make it spicier. Overall the portions were reasonable, the pork was cooked well, nice and crispy. The curry had good flavor but I wish I got the spicy, I will try that next time. Overall it was good, but nothing life changing. The location is fine if you're already in Old Town Pasadena for whatever reason, but its a little bit inconvenient to go just for this. Also the size of the restaurant makes it inconvenient for larger groups.
Parking: there is a paid lot in the same building that always has plenty of spaces, you can also try to find paid street parking as well.
