Delicious Taiwanese food! I tried the Zha Jiang noodles and my boyfriend tried the sizzling steak and egg skillet. Service was great as well, can’t wait to come back and try more things on the menu! :)

How could I forget about this beautiful restaurant for months since my first visit with girl friends last September? I am so glad I suddenly remember this restaurant last Saturday, the first day of the Chinese new year! The interior decoration is perfect for Chinese new year! This is My family's first time visit! They all love it! Perfect for pictures! It is a shame for not many people knowing this place, because they are only two tables occupied during our 1.5 hour visit. The only waitress is Miss Iris from Taipei. She is super nice and friendly! Fortunately, when we left, there were two parties coming in! We love the food maybe because the owner and the chef are from my hometown Taiwan, according to the waitress! The presentation is so beautiful! Perfect for my Facebook postings! I already told my college girlfriends about our next reunion location! Here! Perfect for our group pictures!

I was very impressed with their beef soup - if you crave something authentic, I would highly recommend you to try it.Very good customer service, we got here at 2:28, they are closing at 3 pm - they still set us down and took our orders.Very very good find!

The food was very oily and the drink my boyfriend got was VERY disappointing. But service was good and the restaurant is quiet so you could actually have conversations without yelling across the table. The chawanmushi was the best dish, but I do think charging $10 for that is WAYYYY too much. The garlic noodles and the rice was delicious but too oily. The overall ambiane was quiet even though we went on a Saturday night, but there was like a cleaning disinfectant smell? Comforting to know that they clean, but not the best scent when you walk into a restaurant. Service was sweet! I appreciated that the servers did their best despite struggling with English.

We got the yuzu pickled radish, green tea and braised beef and braised beef tomato noodle soup. The cuts of beef were thick and they didn't skimp on the tomatoes!

Such a cute restaurant! The decor once inside is nostalgic yet very modern. The staff were very quick to have me seated and gave me enough time to ponder the menu before giving me recommendations and taking my order. Ivy is great! She had recommended the Choya Yuzu and it did not disappoint. I had also ordered the Tien Tao Wagyu Bite and Bone Marrow Fried Rice for myself. Everything was divine! I'll definitely be back with my boyfriend for a date night in Pasadena!

A fantastic find in Pasadena. Fresh new take on the stable taiwanese food. We ordered the beef garlic noodle, ja jiang mien, bone marrow rice, abalone and beef salad. While everything is awesome, the dish that impressed me the most is the beef salad. The beef (so tender!!!) salad consists of mint, daikon, carrot, and (the best part) raw/sweet onion. It was light with hint of mint, sweetness, sourness...it was so good!!! I will come back again to try other dishes.

Nice place! Beef noodle soup was hot and fresh, and came with thick slab pieces of meat. Everything else was tasty and the restaurant has a nice interior.. Service also very attentive..

Elevated chinese restaurant! Definitely a place for some bougie wine with Asian food type of vibe.I've been here quite many times but the last visit really made me pull out my phone to finally write a review..While I do enjoy their beef noodle soup because it's so unique (trust me, it's really unique), I also recommend their other dishes like the elevated tuna tar tar, elevated steak and egg on a skillet and baguette, and their elevated garlic noodles with rib eye.Yes... everything here is elevated. I don't drink wine but I'm going to guess everything here goes well with wine. The complimentary dessert though.. meh.. but because it's complementary.. you guessed it.. its... ele... just kidding. It's a nice touch.

Was absolutely delicious! The place was empty at 8pm and everything we ordered was way above expectation - garlic noodle with rib eye, beef noodle soup, and bone marrow rice. Servers were super friendly and would 100% come back!

The food was excellent! We had the garlic noodles with ribeye, the bone marrow rice, and the tuna tartare with caviar. My favorite was definitely the bone marrow rice because it was so flavorful and rich! The tuna tartare came with taro chips, which were super light and paired great! The service was really good and they always made sure our glasses were full. They also played great music!

Pretty unique restaurant in Pasadena. I passed by this a few times before giving it a try. It was not very busy when I went one day. The place doesn't look very big when you look from the outside, but it actually has a pretty big dining area that you can't view from the windows. Very sleek and modern interior. Even their utensils are fancy looking. I ordered garlic noodles, steak and eggs, and bone marrow rice. Garlic noodles and steak/eggs were excellent. Bone marrow rice was okay. I wish I got to take a photo of it before the waitress scraped bone marrow off.
