Miss Gloria is wonderful and her staff is amazing! Some of the best brisket I’ve ever had, very tender and flavorful. Potato salad and Mac n cheese were very delicious as well. Miss Gloria is a sweetheart of a person; I had the pleasure of conversing with her about life and family, while my food was being prepared. Her golden tips on a happy marriage (just got married last year) will stay with me forever. I will be back on future trips to Pasadena!

I am glad that I followed my hungry stomach while in Pasadena after attending a r&b concert at Paseo the night before. I did a google search and found this quaint restaurant that served bbq,cobblers and gumbo. My choice was the gumbo and brought it home, heated it up and taste smacking began. Dark flavorful texture with plenty of spice and healthy portions of chicken,shrimp,crab and sausage. The cute couple were sweet and engaging. All that was missing was a rocking chair and a glass of lemonade. I will make the trip over and over again to enjoy their food from the LAX area. Peace and hairgrease J

The best BBQ! The sauce is smokey yet perfectly sweet. I had their ribs, mac n cheese, and collard greens. Definitely the best meal I’ve had in a long time. For sure the best bbq in Pasadena and will be back. Their peach cobbler is amazing as well 10/10

Y'all... I can finally eat the greens!!! They make them with turkey instead of pork and I gobbled them things up. Almost went for more! I got the chicken plate with 2 sides, mac and cheese and the greens. Comes with a slice of whole wheat bread. Chicken was a bit dry but the sauce helped it... until I ran out of the bbq sauce. I got the hot and regular bbq sauces. The hot had a nice kick, very tangy. Both were sweet and thick. The cups weren't filled up all the way, which would probably be helpful. They were about half full and I had used both cups to dip the chicken, so halfway through eating the chicken, I was out of sauce. This is where the greens came in handy, to dip the chicken in the juices or eat the chicken with the greens to add some moisture. Mac and cheese was good. Nice creamy cheesr sauce and soft noodles. I will definitely go back, just know to order a few extra sides of bbq sauce!

I want to start off by saying, I had such a warm welcome by Miss Gloria! I felt right at home and she was so sweet. I ordered a peach cobbler and mixed berry pie to take to my aunt’s house. The pies were fresh and tasted so good! They have a great food menu as well that I’m excited to try the next time I come back! I’ve heard great things about everything they have so can’t wait until the next time.
