Great matcha, tasty chai, delicious breakfast sandwich, cool people behind the counter, and a poppin soundtrack! This cafe reminds me of all of the best of a NYC bodega, but right in the heart of Pasadena.

The meat cuts have gotten cheaper and thinner over the years while prices have gone up. Got a pulled pork sandwich the other day with the skimpiest amount of over cooked tough pork. The chicken used in the sandwiches has only gotten thinner. Maybe I'll try again next year
