Stopped by on a Saturday morning and the place was pretty busy, which is always a good sign. Luckily, seating is pretty abundant so it didn’t feel too cramped even with the crowd. There’s also parking in the back which made getting in and out pretty easy.
Tried a few drinks while I was there:
Banana Cream Latte – Loved the nutty, sweet combo here. It wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated. The banana flavor was definitely more prominent while the coffee notes stayed a bit more in the background.
Coffee Rain – The coffee flavor was a lot stronger in this one. The slight sweetness helped bring everything together and balance the drink nicely.
Matcha Latte – I don’t drink matcha very often so I don’t have too much to compare it to, but it was smooth and easy to drink.
They also carry pastries and desserts from a local bakery, which is a nice touch if you’re looking for something small to go with your drink.
Overall a solid coffee spot, especially if you’re meeting friends or looking for a place to hang out for a bit.

Good coffee and pastries. Friendly staff. Atmosphere would have been good too, but the floor was very dirty below the table I had to sit at since the place was quite busy that morning. It was around 9am, and the floor was not cleaned the night before? In spite of that, I'd visit Danbi again.

Despite darling young counter staff.... the coffee was undrinkable. I was shocked as they use a basic coffee brand found elsewhere... however, the Americano tasted like stale drip/pot coffee. What a disappointment! Perhaps, Stumptown Coffee needs to provide training to their clients.

I’ve tried their matcha rain before but it was my first time trying their strawberry matcha rain and einspanner. I was actually surprised that I liked their strawberry puree, strawberry matchas are a hit or miss for me as some coffee shops make their strawberry puree too sweet and overpowering. However, their strawberry matcha didn’t overpower the matcha flavor and it was actually pretty mellow. It wasn’t too sweet which I really liked, I personally think they could’ve reduced the puree portion to the matcha so I could taste a bit more of the matcha. I think their drink portions are on the smaller side, but if it tastes good, I’m all for it. The einspanner is definitely a sweet treat. It’s smooth, it’s a perfect afternoon sweet drink. It was my first time getting two drinks by myself so I wasn’t aware but they don’t give you cups holders nor do they offer you one. The pickup station is right next to the cashier and when my drinks came out, the person who made my drink called out my name. By the time I went to get my drinks that person was gone, and the cashier was busy talking to another customer so I couldn’t really cut in and ask the cashier if they could offer me a cup holder. I wished they were a bit attentive of the small things.

Danbi matcha actually transformed me. we got the matcha rain and the banana cream matcha half sweetness as a matcha connoisseur who has been drinking matcha for 4 years and have explored matcha cafes in phoenix Boston Shanghai New York Hangzhou Hong Kong I have never had matcha quite like this. The matcha was very smooth and the cream did not overpower the matcha whereas most places struggle with this issue. The matcha stood out in my mouth creating a very explosive experience. Leaving the place left me in tears I genuinely considered maybe LA is the place for me to be near this place

My gf told me it’s good and she was right. W coffee ⛽️🔥. Street parking only I think but it’s a one way so might not be too bad. People study and hangout longer than a starbucks or other coffee shop so it might be hard to find a parking spot. Worth it though.

Had no idea this spot was such a big deal until our son introduced us to it! It’s definitely popular with the younger crowd, there was a pretty long line when we got there, but the vibe is fun.
They have a huge menu with so many flavored coffee options and different matcha offerings. We decided to try the Banana Cream Matcha and the Strawberry Cream Matcha. Both were delicious, though heads up, they are very sweet!
It’s a really nice place to grab a drink and hang out after church. For parking, there is a lot in the back, otherwise, you can usually find street parking right on Green Street.

Pastries are 50% off after 3pm. The aesthetic of the cafe is airy and light, but I think they need one more staff to help with cleaning tables and the bathroom. The banana matcha drink is a bit overpowered by the banana alone, but I appreciate how real banana is used in the drink.

Came in for a phone order. Went to the front and all employees ignored me. Cashier kept taking everyone's orders and didn't acknowledge me while I was standing right next to her. Had to flag someone after waiting 15 min and it was already ready to give to me. 15 min wasted when my order was already ready.

I got an earl grey scone and an einspanner to go. It was near 6pm and they have pastries 50% off after 5pm, which is pretty cool. The scone was crumbly and had subtle hints of earl grey flavor.
