It's a small, non-drscript, Mom & Pop place but really good. I have only been once and have only had the tacos. There were huge, delicious, and a great deal. They melt cheese on the taco's inner side of the tortilla to help prevent breakage but it also adds a great flavor. I will be back to explore more of their offerings.

We moved from Glendale to Pasadena about a month ago and we decided to try this place out because it was comida poblana! We love this food !!!! and have had many good experiences with other restaurants!Sadly.........The Tamales were so hard I could not eat it and I showed someone on a table how hard it was! Literally like a rock .. Definitely old and just warmed back up in a microwave or something! Definitely have to check on the quality of food before you serve it to a customer. =(The Mole, did not seem authentic or fresh more watery and bland,. Sucks! we were so hungry too !

Wanted to try a Mexican food place so I gave this a try. Ordered some tacos and a burrito but I was surprised that the bill was a bit high for that amount of food. I thought it was fishy that no prices are displayed anywhere. When I tried the food, it was alright - not the best. Plus, it took almost half an hour for the food to be ready. For burritos and tacos? Why that long? Oh, and they only take cash. Unless you have Venmo - they accept that too. Overall, not sure I would go again. Other reviewers seem to have a better experience than me so maybe I went on an off-day.
