I love El Torito Pasadena! The food was amazing from the chips and salsa, to the delicious enchiladas & flan. Compliments to the chef!We had impeccable service provided by our server, Jackson. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail added an extra layer of enjoyment. If you are craving mexican cuisine, or simply enjoy a night out with friends and family, this restaurant delivers on all fronts and I highly recommend it.

Waiting 45 min at the bar for fries and mini tacos. Chips were broken and the bartender had his thumb in the salsa. Lousy service months ago ... planned on not returning... I guess I got what I deserve by coming back.

Nice spot for some Mexican food. They have tasty lunch specials, which helps those on a tighter budget. The food was good and the service was also good. They should add some colors to the decor, it's nicely decorated but very bland...spice it up!

Would like to share my experience yesterday i went in on 3/25/2024 aprox. 6p.m. I went with my kids and I have to say it was the worst experience ever for starts my server I not sure I'm sure if I'm saying her name correctly I think her name was Qiomara was very polite very attentive. But he food was just horrible I waited 1 hour and the prevention was horrible and also had what looked like a public hair which I refused to eat. The manager there looked frustrated so I left. Please torito do better.

I had 3 carnitas street tacos with rice & beans which were delicious. We also ordered table side guacamole. It was good, but a bit bland. It could have used garlic power. But otherwise a great place to eat!

The brunch was really good and mh server was Maria O my favorite meal were the tacos and my server was very helpful and she would always be checking up on us.

First of all, the service was impeccable!! Thank you Trino for being so kind, courteous, and attentive. We started off with chips, salsa, and guacamole. You cannot go wrong with their chips and salsa and table side guacamole. So yummy! I ordered a Cadillac margarita which was on point. The perfect balance of alcohol and mixers. Even the Pepsi was nice and strong with good carbonation. My daughter and I both ordered the salmon with lemon butter sauce. She had sautéed spinach and I had the sautéed veggies with a side of rice and corn cakes. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We topped it off my a shared bread pudding which was nice and warm and moist. Topped off with ice cream and caramel sauce. It's the perfect ending to our meal.

We went for lunch this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day so many people were seated outside, which is a plus. We sat inside. We learned there was one chef so food was delayed. The waitress was very and apologized. I found the food to be average. The chips were good, the salsa tasted like it came from a large can or jar, not freshly made. Not sure if we'll be returning, maybe for happy hour.

Very disappointed with the service at this location. We were there to celebrate a birthday and ended up waiting over 1.5 hours to get our food because they ran out of rice and the apparently two new cooks in training. It was only after we asked the server to check on our food status did this information get conveyed to us. The food was mediocre at best and half of our plates came out first while others had to wait another 10-15 to get theirs. On top of that, this location because it's located in the city of Pasadena, automatically adds the 12% service charge on top of the food cost with no way to remove it from the bill. We will never go back there again. Maybe the brunch is better but for dinner it was a big disappointment.
