Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

I came to Fogo de Chão on November 7, 2025, for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. We also came last year for his birthday and had a great experience, so I was really looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. We had 7:30 PM reservations and checked in right on time, but still waited 45 minutes to be seated. I completely understand it was a busy Friday night, but I had also requested side-by-side seating because my boyfriend is almost completely deaf and can't hear me if we sit across from each other. I mentioned this when checking in, and they said they could accommodate it, but it would take a little longer. During our wait, I noticed several groups with later reservations (7:45 and 8:00) being seated before us. When I asked why, I was told it was because they checked in before me—even though our reservation was earlier. That didn't feel fair, especially after waiting so long. When we were finally seated, it was at a small table near the back by the meat area, and it wasn't side by side as requested. I reminded the staff, but they said that was the only table available unless we wanted to wait even longer. After speaking with a manager, we were eventually accommodated, but by then the night already felt ruined

I've been to the other locations and had a better experience with the food there, the solid bar tasted a little bit old and food had been sitting out for a while however, the meats continue to be good

Very good experience! Great cuts of meats cooked to perfection! Great appetizers! Fantastic red wines from Chile! Such wonderful service and servers! Thank you very much!

I have been to this one and the one in Beverly Hills. What I didnt understand is why SOME tables had TABLE CLOTHS and some didnt. Ours didn't. The salad bar in Pasadena isnt as good as the one in Beverly Hills. But loved all the freshly cut meats...

After a very bad experience, Fogo De Chao invited me to return and I'm very happy to report that it was much, much better. Service was excellent like it used to be. The food was delicious and I really have no complaints anymore. I will return. Thanks guys.

We love this place and will be back. Was a little disappointed that our server kept disappearing and had to have someone else refill our drinks but overall it was a good experience.

The kept skipping us every time with the meat for some odd reason The waiters next to me were cussing as they cleaned the table up Then it took like 15-20minutes to send out more meat . The main waiter wasn't the main waiter? Somehow 2 people got out drinks twice Like...just do better.

Our server was forgetting on a few things like drinks, forks napkins. I'd had to ask another nearby server for things that were asked originally to our server.. one of the meat server was kinda rude he would serve us at the edge of the table and leave he didn't give chance to ask the rest of the table if they wanted some as well.. other than that the food was delicious better than other fogo de chap's I've been to..

First experience at Fogo de Chao, but we found the food and the way it was presented at the table to be outstanding

Meat which is the star food here was dry, lacked seasoning, and selection was minimal. While we were there we were only provided 3 types of meat, later as we were done 2 more meat selections were offered. Salad, side dishes were fine. Staff adding cheese couldnt tell me what the different cheese were. Soups were not labeled so who know what they were. Over priced when you can get Same experience and better tasting food elsewhere.

The service was awful. I had to beg my server to take my card for payment. I felt discriminated. My water was never refilled. I couldn't ask for another drink. I will never go to this location.

We had a reservation 7:45, arrived 7:40, but they told us that they were running behind.. we got a table 8:30... what's the point of taking a reservation then? Many other experienced the same.. then server, although she was nice and respectful, was overwhelmed

The food was excellent. Ambiance very nice but the staff seemed overwhelmed as service was a bit slow a d communication lacking.

I think the experience will depend on if you are seated in an area that the gaucho goes to often and who your server is.

The staff was overwhelmed with too many guests and understaffed, leading to long delays and a disorganized dining experience. We experienced poor service, were unable to get food in a timely manner, and received very little attention from the staff throughout the evening.
