My father introduced Go China to my family. We've been coming here for over 12 years. But this time it's been about 4 years since we've been here. We live about an hour away. The food is still wonderful. My husband had the Kung Pao beef, chicken & shrimp, I had my favorite dish of Gailan (Chinese Broccoli). We also ordered Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The lunch menu style has changed but I was able to order a dish not shown on the lunch menu. The presentation of the lunch dishes has changed to classy instead of the old style lunch tray style of yesteryear. The food was delicious & the flavors just blended together perfectly. I was really impressed with the simple but classy changes. The owner and her family still offer excellent service to the patrons they serve. Next time we won't wait too long to come back. Thank you!

When we have a craving for American Chinese food, choices in SGV are pretty limited - most places focus on regional or otherwise specialty cuisines. But sometimes, I just want a bowl of hot & sour soup and a plate of sweet & pungent shrimp. That's where Go China comes in.We got there at 2pm, just in time to catch the lunch specials, so our meals came with soup, rice, and egg roll along with the main. I had my shrimp and my husband had the broccoli in garlic sauce - both were exactly what we wanted and totally hit the spot.Service was a bit slow, but that could be because we were there while the staff was eating lunch. The interior is clean and makes the most of their limited space.

I'm so sorry guys but I don't like this food. Is kind of pricey yet it lacks flavor. All the different family style dishes I tried taste the same. It looks like they use the same exact ingredients on everything. Everything just taste like salt and you can't distinguish each dish. The lo mein soft noodles are a major disappointment as well and not thick enough.

Love this place. I haven't found a dish I didn't like. My favorites: fish in black bean sauce, house chicken, Singapore Mee fun ().

This is been my go-to delivery Chinese food restaurant for a while now. My favorite dish is the dynamite chicken. Sadly the last two times I've ordered it it has come soggy and with less sauce and lighter in color. I'm hoping they go back to the original way they used to cook it this otherwise I may have to find a new place to go. So sad.

The food was excellent and they were willing to shift our order to remove spicy from one dish and change to Hong Kong style noodles for another. Very kind waiter name Jevon. In this photo you see our moo shoo veggies and our house pan fried noodle combo (with sun of Hong Kong noodles). Delicious. The music and quaint atmosphere were nice to experience in a Chinese restaurant. Definitely come here!

Dined in today. Food was totally a bomb yo. Ambience is sexy and dim. Service was kind. Price is reasonable especially you in Pasadena area. Don't forget it's inflation time. If you want cheap food, go to Panda Express yo. How could somebody complained about food being expensive? Want a cheap food, cook yourself don't eat out yo. Felt sorry for the server who didn't the tip from the customer though they worked hard to please the customer. Those customers are so fucked up yo.

A lackluster kitchen trotting out underwhelming flavors on standard Americanized deep-fried items. The disappointment is that they are not delivering on the famed Chinese cooking technique of glazing a deep-fried item in a searingly hot wok by basting over and over again with sauce. The eggplant was tasteless on the whole although billed as "garlic sauce". The shrimp (in Kung Pao supposedly) was wan and there was no effort at a banging chili/nut blend. On the plus side, they have a dedicated parking lot around the back, and their ambience inside allows diners to feel a sense of remove from the blazing hot concrete environment of Lake Street outside. It is shaded from the sun and nicely appointed inside.

Go China was a spur of the moment kind of decision. The location is a bit inconspicuous to the naked eye, however, I thought i'd check it out to see what they offered. Upon entering the restaurant (after dark), the lighting was very intimate and dim giving off very romantic & chill vibes. I was greeted by the host who promptly asked whether it was "for here or to go" for which I'd mentioned "to go". Picked up the menu and started firing questions towards the host, and ended up settling with the Orange Chicken w/ a side of steamed rice. First thing that got me was $17 orange chicken. Im thinking "alright, this probably already comes with rice & such", hell no lol. They charge you an extra $3 for a side of steamed rice. I then asked if I could order a side of broccoli, for which I was told, "they only serve family style cuisine".... I'm like "bruhhhhhhhh" the broccoli added an extra $16 to the total w/ tax ($38), and it was just broccoli & oyster sauce. This place desperately needs a touch of realism, & and fair A La Carte menu bro. So, I settled with just the orange chicken and rice... spent $23 w/ tax. Ngl though, the chicken was good, but wasn't anything special. I really enjoyed the flavor & taste of the Orange Chicken. I Just wish I had more!!! Also had the privilege of inhaling some burnt orange peels and peppers with my Orange Chicken as well. The rice was PERFECT! Fluffy & wholesome. I gave this place 3 stars because I believe it is a bit overpriced in regards to overall taste & cost per portion. However, I really want to give to them another try in the future and check out what else they have to offer.

We've gotten takeout from this restaurant twice and everything tasted good and fresh. It's mainstream American Chinese food. The food was prepared very quickly and the manager/owner was helpful both times with recommendations. We did find it to be on the pricey side, though. So - not a bargain but reliably good.

The service was great. We went around 5 and was immediately seated. There server was phenomenal! He refilled drinks without us having to flag him down. The plating was beautiful. We shared the Indonesian Meeting Fun and asked for medium spice. The shrimp were large in it. The egg rolls were delicious and crispy.

When I was 14 my grandma started taking me here every week. The staff and owner knew us, would even remember my birthday. I moved away but would come back from time to time. I’m 24 now, and even though I hadn’t seen him in years, the owner still recognized me, and the staff is still so incredibly wonderful! Ten years of some of the best food and service, you will not regret trying this place, and hopefully it will become a favorite for you just like it did from me, even if I’m miles away in Denver :)
