Really good eggs benne, though the scalloped potatoes that came with were pretty dry (but tasty). French toast sticks are really good - we shared and still got a sugar coma lol. We came for the Maple syrup and it delivered. Sadly the Portobello fries have red pepper in the batter, and I'm mildly allergic to capcasin (I can get hives from it). When asked, the waiter said it wasn't spicy at all so I was hoping they didn't use much but my guess is he enjoys spicy so he just can't tell. It was too much for me to have more than a half of one, though not enough if you actually like spicy. It would be better to leave it out of the batter and just offer a nice spicy sauce along with the basil aioli it comes with - that way everyone wins because what I ate was promising! $100 for two, sharing everything listed + one latte & one orange juice. Too expensive for a weekly outing but solid for a special occasion.

The restaurant was only moderately busy but it took 30 minutes to get water (and we had to ask). We received our food an hour after placing an order. At that time we were told the staff were upset as the restaurant will be closing soon. Not sure if whether the bad service is the restaurant chain fault or the staff at the location, but it's certainly not the customers fault and we should haven't been treated that way. We won't be going to any of the Great Maple locations in future.

We had a reservation for 8 people, and the only timely aspect of the entire experience was being seated a few minutes after arrival. The rest of our experience was terrible - from ordering to arrival of beverages and food, everything arrived after very long delays and piece-meal so that we were not able to dine together. The server, while friendly, may have been attending to too many tables; neither she nor other staff came by, offered additional beverages or cleared plates after we all finally received our meals and had eaten. I waited at least 15 minutes to speak to the manager and, while she was apologetic and offered to reduce the amount of our bill which was appreciated, we again waited and waited for our updated check as she was also working in the kitchen. Perhaps our experience was a one-off, but I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant was incredibly loud inside. Could not hear the person next to me without leaning in. Food took 45m to arrive and when it did, the eggs were crusted over from sitting out. Our server left halfway through our meal and no one checked on us for at least 20m because I was looking to just get our check and leave ASAP. Veggie modification for the chilaquiles was a joke— basically some tortilla chips in a bowl with a little sauce. The server offered to bring eggs because it wasn't in the dish but he couldn't guarantee it would be brought out in a somewhat timely manner. No one came back after. I had to get up to ask the hostess to find someone to help us get our check. I really don't bother leaving negative reviews but today's meal was exceptionally poor.

We had a terrible experience. They gave our reservation away. When we got there they told us it would 15 min. 30 min later I went back to check in with the hostess. She said there are still 4 parties ahead of us who also had reservations. 1 hour later I check back in and they said our party was already sat and finished dinning. My poor 75 year old mom had to wait aver an hour and we were so upset this had happen we left. This was for Mother's Day. Our family have been regulars since they opened. We'll never be dining there again. Truly awful service.

Great experience! Glad that we made reservations as this seems to be a very popular spot in Pasadena! The food and service were amazing. We sat outdoors as requested on our reservation via the OpenTable app. Definitely plan to return in the future.

Loved the decor. Service was great. We had brunch: I ordered the plain pancakes and they were very good...a stack of 4 large cakes and I could only eat half! Bacon side was okay...I like more fat on my bacon. I had a sloe gin and pineapple drink that was really tasty but too sweet for me. My friend had a breakfast dish with potatoes that were to die for! All in all, a fun restaurant and we enjoyed our experience there. BTW, there is a parking garage right next to the restaurant, and Great Maple validates parking (at least part of the cost).

The food was pretty good, but a lot of the pasta I received was dry. The service was really good! And the ambience was nice :). I would come back to try a different food item. Prices were OK

We went there today for lunch on my mother's 84th birthday. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait. After 50 minutes we went back up and were told maybe another 45 minutes? We told them it was my mother's birthday and she has Parkinson's disease but they didn't really seem to care. What's even more frustrating is that there were empty tables. We went to Green Street Cafe instead and got seated right away. You're staff needs to do way better.

This restaurant had such high hopes for us, but once we arrived it was disappoint through the entire meal. The table we originally were placed at for a party of 3 was so wobbly that any drink would have fallen over with any movement. We asked to move to another table which was thankfully more stable.Food: we ordered the French Toast, taco salad, and some Melt. The French toast was unfortunately burnt and cold. The salad was incredibly bland, had almost no dressing, and for some reason had an absurd amount of cilantro sprigs throughout, and was lined with tortilla chips despite having nothing to dip them in or eat them with. The melt however, was delicious, just light on the meat vs bread amounts.Compared to the Great Maple in San Diego, this location is sadly a far cry from that standard. This explains why on an early Saturday afternoon, it was nearly empty.

We stopped here for a late dinner on a Saturday. The menu is interesting, featuring bacon and doughnuts, but also lots of fresh vegetables and and a good selection of vegetarian dishes. I ordered the chicken bowl, but replaced the chicken with falafal. It was very tasty with a good variety of vegetables, although it could have been hotter. We all enjoyed our meals,

Great place! I wish I'd ordered beignets. It took me 3 days to eat all the bacon on the BLT... couldn't quite enjoy it while I was there, as it was a massive amount. It looked like I'd hurt myself trying to take a bite so I deconstructed it.

Wanted to have brunch before we left Pasadena and the food and service was superb. If I'm ever back in Pasadena I'll be sure to stop in.
