Really good eggs benne, though the scalloped potatoes that came with were pretty dry (but tasty). French toast sticks are really good - we shared and still got a sugar coma lol. We came for the Maple syrup and it delivered. Sadly the Portobello fries have red pepper in the batter, and I'm mildly allergic to capcasin (I can get hives from it). When asked, the waiter said it wasn't spicy at all so I was hoping they didn't use much but my guess is he enjoys spicy so...

Great experience! Glad that we made reservations as this seems to be a very popular spot in Pasadena! The food and service were amazing. We sat outdoors as requested on our reservation via the OpenTable app. Definitely plan to return in the future.

Loved the decor. Service was great. We had brunch: I ordered the plain pancakes and they were very good...a stack of 4 large cakes and I could only eat half! Bacon side was okay...I like more fat on my bacon. I had a sloe gin and pineapple drink that was really tasty but too sweet for me. My friend had a breakfast dish with potatoes that were to die for! All in all, a fun restaurant and we enjoyed our experience there. BTW, there is a parking garage right next to the restaurant,...
