We had a delicious dinner at Henry Parsons Project. I had the fried oysters as an appetizer. The portion was so large that I took most of my main dish home as leftovers. My husband had the brussel sprouts and shrimp and grits, while I had the noodles with peanut sauce and okra. We accompanied our meal with a yummy Chardonnay. The chef came out to talk to us before our meal, a nice gesture. The menu is inventive and the ambience was warm and cozy, a perfect spot for a romantic...
Thank you so much, HPP! Marvelous dinner for Altadena fire victims! Gaaaahhhh, your gumbo! The spicy Cajun shrimp! The kale salad - kale I actually enjoyed! And oh those Angel biscuits and blackberry cobbler dessert - inspired - and much enjoyed! A very therapeutic evening. Recommended - for your own benefit and because the people that operate HPP are heroes.
Nice restaurant with plenty of free self parking.
