Highlight Coffee - Pasadena

The coffee and Orange Vanilla Latte were amazing. Friendly staff and good amount of away from work work-space.

Nice space, lovely pour over, strong cold brew. Great beans. High end in an unpretentious atmosphere.

Parking: Street is BUSY! Take care when crossing the road if parking on the opposite side of the street!

Unclear if the man helping us / barista was having the absolute worst day ever - but wow. We came on a Sunday afternoon 2 hours prior to closing, ordered two pour over coffees. I don't expect anyone in the service industry to bend over backwards with a big ol smile (especially not in this economy), but I do know we are easy customers who don't fuss over orders / have tons of questions. So not sure what his problem was.

He was too pissy for us to approach and ask for the WiFi password, so we drank our coffee and left rather than doing the work we set out to do here.

Anyway. Came here to still say, the coffee is good here. Good bean selection too.

The coffee is great. The pastries from Sugarbloom are amazing. The tea based drinks though, ie matcha latte or dirty chai…. They are ok, can’t recommend them. But overall it is an excellent place for coffee and pastries.

Great coffee, love their Matcha! The pastries are excellent. The space is very open & airy and the staff always welcoming. This is a small business & their second location. It’s a welcome addition to the neighbourhood ☕️

Good beans and they know how to make espresso but not as good as the better shops in Pasadena. Croissants are nothing special and a bit expensive, but other baked items are good. Worst atmosphere around, with an industrial kitchen and other operational detritus on display for all to have to look at while ordering.

I had a truly excellent pour-over coffee here today, from their extensive menu. The service was great. The rest of our family enjoyed their various coffee drinks. Will definitely be going back every day of our trip.

The Butterscotch latte was wonderful. It wasn’t too sweet. Also tried the orange vanilla latte which my husband loved even though he usually is a black drip kind of guy. Quick service and lots of indoor seating. The interior is bigger than it initially looks from outside. It has its own vibe, everyone there on a rainy day was working on their laptop or reading. Seems like a good place to get work done.

Can’t believe I waited this long to check out this spot! Hip coffee shop with high attention to quality. I got a pour over along with an iced hibiscus mint tea. Impressed by the care that went into both. Will be back, and may also pick up some beans while I’m there.

Iced latte is super yummy ? I don’t know much about coffee but it’s just so good!! My favorite. I don’t go to Starbucks for latte anymore. Most of their employees are so so friendly place is good to bring my laptop, iPad to work or study(tables are wide enough and perfect height so no neck pain) or just hang out with friends or by myself. Also if you get 10 coffees, one is free ☕️
