Hook Burger – Pasadena: A Great Burger with a Side of Noise
Hook Burger in Pasadena has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a quality burger. The star of the menu for me is their Maui Burger. The combination of flavors, from the perfectly grilled pineapple to the tangy teriyaki sauce, is spot on. The patty is always juicy, and the toppings are fresh, making every bite a delightful experience.
However, as much as I love the food, the atmosphere could use a little adjustment. The music is consistently too loud, which can make it challenging to have a conversation. It slightly detracts from the otherwise pleasant dining experience.
If they could tone down the volume, Hook Burger would be a near-perfect spot to enjoy a meal. For now, it's still worth a visit—just be prepared for a louder environment.

The California Burger ? was delicious along with yellow peppers between bites ? the fries were good and I’m glad I can add salt to taste. The friendly service is pleasant and refreshing! I noticed a few different employees hold the doors open to incoming guests which is a representation of good quality management and that of those individual employees. Keep it up! The only reason I didn’t add a photo of my meal because I was huuungry lol otherwise it was a nice presentation with plenty of avocado ? ? The outdoor patio is nice and clean even on a warm day ☀️
Parking: Entering the lot from the cross street is best.
Wheelchair accessibility: Both main entrance and patio door are wheelchair accessible.

Parking is not really an issue, going inside feels somewhat retro and employees have really good energy. They serve beer which is a plus. The food is better than expected, the buns are so soft, the meat is very juicy and if you're in the mood they have good onion rings to top it off.

I wouldn't say I was hooked but overall the place was better than average. I had a mushroom burger, California burger, and a hickory BBQ burger. Also me and my colleagues shared a trio which included a set of regular fries, potato fries, and onion rings. Two sides were included including a thousand Island style sauce with a hint of horseradish, and a ranch sauce side. On average the burgers cost around $10 each, and overall the prices were pretty good. The decoration and atmosphere for top notch, and the service was about average for a place that is fast casual. It's a good place to get a fast burger for lunch, but it isn't a gourmet style burger place. Overall 4/5 and would probably come back if I was nearby.

I have been going here since they opened. They have delicious Burgers, Fries and milkshakes!!! They also have Beer and wine. I would recommend this place if you enjoy burgers. They also have grilled cheese sandwich! Check them out! Take your date or family out to eat some delicious food! Milkshakes are yummy. Their fries are yummy too! Their customer service is good.
