I was not looking forward to going to my friend's suggested burger place because I do not eat burgers. I was pleasantly surprised to see a variety of non burger items. I had salmon on a kale salad.
My friends had burgers and great looking onion rings.
They serve beer and wine. We drank fountain drinks.
Seats were hard. Kind of a little cold and loud.

It was my first visit here and had a great experience. The taste and ambience were amazing but it was the service that was a home run! I forgot to mention no Bacon but they were still kind enough to accommodate the request after the burger was ready.

Place was absolutely amazing, the burger was incredible, the sweet potato fries were good too the topping were very fresh it was like the habit but less processed and more wholesome. And the sauces and pickles are unlimited and free !!!

The ingredients were fine. But they removed some nice touches that caused them to stand out in positive way before. For example they used to have a shiny toasted hamburger bun as the menu states. Now it's a standard cheap store bought cold bun they just through on. They also used to serve the fries in a cone shaped metal container. Now it's just in a standard cardboard container. I realize Hook Burger is a fast food restaurant. But the quality has gone down. Makes me sad. 😔

Found Hook Burger after a full day at the amusement parks, this place hit the spot even less than an hour before they closed. I had the mushroom burger with onion rings and the burger was so juicy and flavorful and even better with their house made dijon mayo slathered all over it. I will definitely be back if we are in town again in the future.
Hickory burger and root beer float or chicken pesto are good go to options. They also have beer and wine if you're fancy like that.

I've been a long time Hook Burger customer and there's a reason. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is amazing. I had a door dash go wrong once and the next time I came in they gave me a coupon for a free burger. Today, our burgers took a tiny bit longer and they gave us new fries because they felt they'd been sitting out too long. Just two examples of great service I've received and why I keep coming back.

I didn't appreciate the fake patriotism of having some used up old flag in the dining room. They should do the actual patriotic thing and give it to a local boyscout troupe to be dismantled and burned. It makes me want to puke when corporations do this kind of trashy display, so disrespectful.
