I stopped in to get some hummus and garlic paste to go but see there $11.99 chicken kabob special and decided to try it. I am so glad I did. The dark meat chicken was so tender the side salad was delicious a fun the hummus was good even the rice was tasty. I will def recommend to anyone just passing by to try it!! Unfortunately I live far and can’t come back anytime soon but I wish I could.

I really wanted to like this place but the food was an insult to Middle Eastern cuisine. The falafel was dry and overcooked and made without fresh herbs (which are normally an essential ingredient). The cauliflower was overcooked and under-seasoned. The tahini was too liquid and the hummus was tasteless.
The staff were friendly and the place itself is nice with a couple of street tables so it’s a real shame about the food.

We were pleasantly surprised by this quiet, unassuming café on a busy stretch of Colorado Blvd. Having arrived early for a show at the Ice House we decided to stroll down the block in search of a snack. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the filet mignon plate, shawarma wrap and shawarma nachos which were unbelievable. Ample portions with minimal damage to your budget. What a find!

I've been working in Pasadena for a couple of years now, and honestly, most of the lunch spots have started to feel a little played out. So when I drove past Hummus Labs and saw they had a lunch special, I decided to check it out.
I tried the chicken kabob plate, which comes with your choice of white or dark meat, I went with dark. The chicken was served in big, juicy chunks and was super moist. The rice it came with was flavorful and fluffy. The plate also included a small salad, some classic hummus, and pita bread.
The place itself is pretty small, so I'd recommend calling in your order if you're trying to grab lunch during the rush. Overall, the meal was tasty, felt healthy, and was just the kind of simple lunch I needed. They also tons of other items that I want to try like shawarma nachos ?! I'm definitely going to start adding this to my lunch rotation.

Decided to give this place a try today for a catering event at work. When the food arrived it looked like it was not going to be enough for our guests and I panicked! Rest assured as our guests started to serve themselves I realized that Joseph packed our trays really well and we had more than enough for seconds and still managed to have leftovers.
