This was my first time coming to the hospital and from the very beginning I can only say everything is fantastic especially all of the representatives all of the safety guards the nurses doctors staff and the whole team that took care of us are amazing they are hard-working professionals that know exactly what they are doing. there is no setback when it comes to a request or an issue they are on top of it quickly to handle your request and keep you comfortable they really are to the highest caliber with that said I’m sure the whole hospital follows suit. You are never alone somebody is always checking up on you we have not rang The service button to call for Assistance from a nurse etc. not even one time pressing the button that is very comforting knowing you do not have to ring the buzzer to get help from the team it seems they come in right on time over and over again and I thank them very much. They truly are kind friendly pleasant to speak with they will make time to hear you out it is one of the best experiences I have had and I thank the whole team and the whole hospital. Very safe parking a lot of structures heavy security I say that in a very positive way it is just the way it runs at this particular hospital they have got every corner and floor covered to make you feel safe and you can end up with a nice conversation. Huntington Hospital are family thanks you all of your members and staff for a great healing experience you had not stopped researching The issue until you’ve been thoroughly checked out in detail and the nurses doctors etc. had come to a positive conclusion before they discharge you we many thanks to each and everyone of you.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Much like the other reviews you will read, I waited over 4 hours to be seen by a doctor after being brought in by an ambulance, despite the waiting room being nearly empty. When I finally did see a doctor, the visit lasted no more than 10 minutes, and I was not informed of the side effects or withdrawal risks of the medication I was given in the room and prescribed. If we had the choice to travel to another hospital, we would have. The building is freezing, and no one checked in during the hours we were waiting. We were in a distressing situation, and I think I honestly would have been better off not going to a medical facility at all. I would never send anyone I cared about to this hospital.

Ian, and all the staff were all wonderful and took very good care of me with my high blood pressure problem. I had all the works done, blood work, CAT Scan, X-ray, EKG, and I am very happy with their help. Thank you entire nurses, doctors and everyone.

Probably the worst hospital I’ve ever been to. In there for extremely high blood pressure and was nearing a heart attack. They left me alone for most the 10 hours I was there. Didn’t answer any questions that I had asked and barely checked in on me. Them transferring me to a different hospital was the best thing they could’ve done for me. This hospital sucks and I overheard the nurses talking badly about me saying it was all in my head. I do not trust them for that.

If I can give zero or even negative, I would do that. It is a very dangerous place to go if you are sick. Doctors are very aggressive to give you all kind of IVs and surgeries you don’t need in order to make money. They disregard ethics and humanity. Please stay away from this place. They should not be allowed to open.

The care I received at my stay here was great. However since they discharged me the "errors" on my hospital bill have been almost comical. Nearly $1,500 charge for motrin and tylenol. A stay in the ICU that never happened. These are just the highlights. Now they are pressing me with overdue notices for a revised bill I've never even seen.

I came here after I was in a hit and run and I’ve never been so upset by front desk workers. They are rude, sassy, unhelpful, and frankly have the worst patient care I’ve ever had to deal with. They left the mic on while behind their desk and I could literally hear them making fun of patients waiting in the lobby. Not to mention it took 4+ hours to see someone.

After getting in a car accident i arrived here at 2 pm and got out at 9:00 at night. i spent HOURS waiting. Not to mention the front desk lady was rude as hell to me while i was bawling my eyes out after i nearly lost my life! It took hours of waiting just to have my vitals repetitively checked and they didn’t even bother to put gloves on or clean it, the lady left the finger cord wrapped around my hand and told me she’d come back later (again, took hours) while my other arm was bruised and in pain, this made using the bathroom extremely difficult with no hands and i know if i asked for help i’d wait another 3 hours for a nurse. meanwhile all the nurses were standing around talking and laughing with each other. other people around me were visibly upset. The lady in the chair next to me had severe foot pain and had been waiting over six hours and made a huge scene rightfully so. All that time just to find out nothing was broken. It shouldn’t have taken that long. I even fractured my wrist once and i spent two hours max in urgent care. The day i came here was one of the worst days of my life. Do better.

While the doctors and (some) of the nurses were very kind, I would go to a different ER If there’s one not too out of the way as, obviously, an ER should be convenient. The first time I had to come here this week because of the excruciating pain I’m in and symptoms I’m experiencing, some of the main ones were completely ignored, so not only had they not done testing for them, but, they didn’t even include them on my paperwork. They thankfully did do some testing that evening and ruled some things out for some of my symptoms, but when I had to come back a day later while in even more excruciating pain and in true desperation the staff in that night thought I suddenly had more and different symptoms because they weren’t even noted when I’d emphasized how excruciating they’d been, anyway, now they’re worse. So, my second visit here these were getting attention and four different important tests were done over the course of 17 and a half hours. Nothing that could explain my high fever, thunderclap-type headaches and stabbing occipital ridge pain were detected and I can’t blame them for that. In fact, I’m glad a lot of scary things it could have been came back negative. The doctor wasn’t pushing me to leave because they could see that after even a second visit, I was still having serious symptoms just as badly as soon as any pain medication even began to wear off and it’s not normal for that and a fever to be lasting as long as this is, however, the last doctor did say it would be for “pain management” that I stay. That’s it? They weren’t going to do more comprehensive imaging they hadn’t yet done? Like an MRI. Why?And why in nearly 18 hours was I only given a couple packets of graham crackers and saltines…with my dry af mouth due to the fever. And two cups of water only because I’d asked kindly (unfortunately multiple times per little cup) just to get them. Even after about 17 hours after overhearing a doctor tell the nurse that seemed bothered by and forgetful of my kind request for a cup of water that I could eat when I came back from the bathroom and she coldly asked if I wanted something I said, sure, thank you, I’m vegetarian, she said, “well, it’s just going to be saltines anyway.”Wait, what? So, yeah, I felt at that point it best to go home with a prescription of painkillers since anyway that’s supposedly why they would’ve wanted to keep me just “pain management.”I felt some actual nutrients would be necessary and, I don’t know, help the body along in the battle it’s facing. Not to mention I was in extreme neck pain and the bed I was in was broken, I just wonder why they didn’t have the consideration after needing to raise the head part of it for testing to bother lowering it back. I’d just had a spinal tap and was connected to IVs, but I’d have to get up afterwards and lower it myself because of the neck pain it was further causing me. I didn’t dare ask every time because when I’d asked since they were done and leaving the room anyway if they could dim the lights, it usually seemed like a hassle. Now, one nurse did not seem annoyed and another very kind gentleman saw me with my sweater over my head and came in on his own to do so because he assumed it was probably making my headache worse.I also overheard LOUDLY them making fun of someone screaming out (in pain?) saying that there was a pterodactyl on the floor (mind you it was making it sound like a miserable mental institution, but still, if I could here it, the pterodactyl heard them, too.Last but not least, I tried calling today to kindly find out before calling around to different neurologists whether anything in my blood work indicated dehydration and couldn’t get through my question before I was continuously rudely transferred without a word until eventually being hung up on.They hung up on me after I was there kind through all of my pain and after they made upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars, I’m sure, from my insurance I’m incredibly grateful to have.

My experience at the Huntington Hospital emergency room was as good as I could ever expected. After crashing on my bike, I was expecting the typical ER experience of long waits and injuries, pain, and moans everywhere. Instead of that I almost felt like I was at a 5 star hotel. Everybody was so nice and I just progressed through all the steps without delay. They told me it wasn't very busy which seems to be the factor of whether or not people have a good experience. All I can say is that on that not very busy night, I received great care. Thank you HHER!

By far the BEST hospital in the San Gabriel Valley in my opinion. I would give 100 stars if I could, from the ER to when you are admitted to discharge the level of service and care is just amazing! The doctors, nurses and the rest of the staff always give their best! Even when you are waiting areas at the ER the staff checks on your vitals and provide comfort. I have been more than I’d like. It I would not go any other hospital in my area. I trust the doctors and nurses and the hospital staff. They are caring and compassionate! Rest assure that they will not let you go until they have exhausted every possible area of concern. I am thankful and grateful to have such an incredible hospital and staff to care for me. THANK YOU HUNTINGTON HOSPITAL!

I had my baby here about 5 days ago, scheduled c-section; had thee most amazing experience! Everything went smooth - everyone was super professional. The nursing team in labor and delivery and all other staff who worked around the clock to make sure we were comfortable accommodated to our liking were amazing! 10/10 would recommend.

I am writing this review even with my wife still at her room in the hospital. Your staff and facilities are the best. From the start in the emergency room; all the nurses and doctors to our staff in the 5th floor. There are no words for me to express my sincerely appreciation for all of the Doctors; nurses; assistants; transportation… everyone may God blessed all of you your families… all of you chose the right career. Once again thanks.

BEWARE! INSURANCE SCAM! My grandmother was brought here, received no treatment was not offered her regular medication. No nurses to be found, refused to allow my grandmother to get up and use her legs! Which are functional if used regularly. Every phone call the nurse made to other patients family members all the same “They are good, doing good happy to be here getting better” which was not the case. Definitely ignoring specific instructions from family members which I get it to a certain extent. If your patient isn’t doing to good and a family member her has been with them this whole time doesn’t hurt to consider it. “Nurses” kept telling us “your insurance covers no worry” when in fact they were actually in the process of transferring the insurance over just to see what they will get paid for. We have good insurance why couldn’t she be transferred to her regular hospital? No explanation, and no treatment, Nurse call bell rang for hours and no nurses to be found, when brought to one’s attention she walks into the room and walked right out . When asked for supplies she walked into supplies room out the other door and never to be seen. Seems to me this is what she does her whole shift ! Avoids patients by walking the halls. I know the insurance thing doesn’t sound right but trust me something wasn’t right here, my grandmother never has issues or the type to blame workers but even she felt like they didn’t want to help her, no medication was offered, she went in for falling on her right arm no one ever found out what was going on, we finally were able to withdraw from the hospital made us sign a paper “we refused treatment” when they actually denied us treatment and left my grandmother in bed for days didn’t allow her to get up or use the restroom. No nurses were available or anywhere to be seen. Please be careful if your parents / grandparents end up here the longer they stay the more they get paid, and the sicker they are the more they get paid. Already been home 24 hrs and she’s already doing better ? my heart breaks for those who were calling about their loved ones trying to get an update. While the nurse just brushed them off knowingly doing a lazy job and neglecting patients needs.UPDATE: just checked medical records they also tried to receive back pay on medication 2+weeks when my grandmother was only there 3-4 days and didn’t even receive medication 50% of the time

Long wait..over 9 hours. But once admitted they do have good quality health service. Staff has always been caring and polite.
