This was the perfect size mini pies for all your cravings. Sweet & savory- love it! We purchased an order of 6 for 4 of us and left 2 for our host. Had the key lime, berry, variety of others. Didn't try savory pies but those looked yummy! We will be back

We were in town for Pokemon Go Fest & decided to try this place since we like pie! We ordered 2 - banana split was good but it didn't have the pineapple she listed as one of the layers; the other was lemon and this was rock hard. I could barely get the fork through the crust. I took home 3/4 of the pie and heated it up in the microwave for 20 seconds and it was 10x better. If the owner is reading this review, you may want to warm up the pies. So much easier to eat. As others have mentioned, the pies are small and quite pricey.

Walking around downtown Pasadena for Pokemon Go I came across this small sign asking if I liked pie. Why yes, yes i do :) I walk in and take a look around and they have these cute little pies both fruit filled and savory. I am a sucker for an apple pie so I got one of their dutch apple pies and a latte. The crust and filling on this pie was delicious. The only downside for me is the apple slices were just too tart. If that's what you're after, this is going to be amazing for you. For me I like a bit more sweeter apple filling so might try something else next time but either way this is definitely a place you should check out.

Some of the best I've ever had and I'm not a huge pie person. Texture is perfect. Service was great. Atmosphere is nice.

I've tried I Like Pie a few times since my first visit and they're still doing excellent. Pros: + A fresh variety of seasonal pies is always rotating to keep the menu fresh. They have a handy picture guide of the seasonal menu too. + The Berry hand pie continues to be a winner. It's what Hostess pies wish they could be, packed with fresh berries with no air space. Just make sure you get one that didn't leak in the oven. + The savory pies look great too like the potato onion quiche, shepherd's pie and chicken pot pie. + I didn't notice before but they also have vegan options, in this case a Dutch apple and a mixed berry, the apple was very good. Cons: - Parking is a challenge around here but that's not their fault. I Like Pie continues to excel and we will keep trying many of their pies in the future.

You know when you just want a little something to satisfy the sweet tooth craving? Well I was walking past and here was I LIKE PIE. There may not have been a craving but it's just about PIE! Who doesn't love pie?! I picked up a few for after dinner. Yes. I was able to hold back until after dinner. The pies were clouds like just like cheesecake. Creamy and soft. I love key lime so this was a hit for me and not too tart. The cookie butter was like whipped cream with a cookie butter crust. I'll take this full size please-12" lol! Turtle was yummy not too sweet. An extra squeeze of caramel sauce and whipped cream would have been amazing but that's me going overboard. Service is courteous and quick. Shop is clean and with indoor dining available. Metered Parking on the street available. Definitely coming back to try other flavors!

My first time trying. I mistakenly walked in because, looking at the pictures, I thought cupcakes were also on the menu (my favorite). Nope, the pies just look like cupcakes! I decided to try anyway, and was pleasantly surprised. The chocolate chip cookie one was amazing! Especially after heating it up. The cookie butter was very tasty as well. I would definitely like to come back again someday.

Didn't even know this place was here in Pasadena. These mini cupcake pies pack a lot of flavor. The crust is the best part. I personally enjoyed the banana split although I'm a chocolate lover. Place is quaint and service is great. Will definitely return to try the different flavors.

Wow, another review that failed to get written until now (I came here in June 2023). I must be slipping. Anyway, I know this shop from Claremont, even further away from us than Pasadena, but I was super thrilled to learn that this second location opened up closer to us (well, only by a little distance), but I'll take what I can get. They offer sweet and savory pies, but truth be told, I'm completely stuck on their sweet pies only. I love that they offer the sizes they do, and in the shape and size of a cupcake. They also have hand pies. Frankly, I don't care if they're expensive or not. They're THAT good !! The owner makes phenomenal pie crust, whether it's a traditional pie crust, shortbread, graham cracker, or whatever.... perfect every time. The pie flavors are so delicious, everything tastes fresh and flavorful, and there are always about 10 choices on their menu, although some of the flavors change with the seasons. Regardless of the time of year, this shop is always well stocked, and I have never seen them run out of anything, even at holiday time. My favorite flavors are their chocolate chip chess, lemon, banana cream, pumpkin praline, and cookie butter. I've tried most, if not all, of their sweet flavors, and they are ALL delicious. It's a good thing we don't live near Pasadena. The allure would be too strong for me. :)

I really want to give I like Pie that four-star rating it deserves...but...a few things simply didn't hit the mark for me. First is first--the prices. I'm not cheap. At all. I frequent many bakeries where the desserts and coffee total more than $20, and that's fine with me. That noted, I expect the quality to match the price... Shepard's Pie: It was subpar. I loved the cheddar-infused, doughy crust. The filling, on the other hand...the ground beef didn't taste anymore spectacular than other Shepard's Pies I've had at LA pubs. The tomato gravy didn't necessarily compliment the pie, either. Additionally, it was served lukewarm bordering on cold. My recommendation--ten more seconds in the oven. Salted Caramel Banana Cream: Look, I know these are mini pies, but for nearly $9 a piece, a few slices of banana would have been appreciated. The caramel is an afterthought buried beneath a mostly banana cream filling topped with whipped cream. Short -lived disappointment. The Cinnamon Roll Hand Pie: Now we're talking! I am still fantasizing about this delectable hand pie as I type this review. Generous amounts of cream cheese filling, scrumptious, flaky crust, and those vanilla and cinnamon sugar glazings--I could easily eat two in one sitting with no regrets, and considering my thoughts on the other two pies, maybe I should have. The coffee: decent. No complaints there. At $49 for two Shepard's Pies, a mini pie, a hand pie, and a small coffee, my expectations were less than met. I'll return for one final rendezvous with the dessert case and to try the other two savory pies. I hope the second time's the charm here considering my initial experience.

Service was great, but didn't love the pies. Got 4 different ones to try and none of them really stood out. They're also all too sweet.
