Hawaiian theme atmosphere, reminds you of being in the Hawaiian islands. Burgers are fantastic, especially the teriyaki burger with pineapple. Very tasty!! And their nachos are great, as well with chicken. They add a side of sour cream guacamole and salsa upon request. The crew are friendly and gave top service!! Not too long of wait for take out orders.

The burgers here are delicious!! The Kilauea burger is my go to 🔥 I wish there was an Islands restaurant closer to Montebello area! Don’t mind making the trip though it’s worth it

I recently stopped by Islands in Pasadena and absolutely loved the experience! What first grabbed my attention was the cool, laid-back, tropical atmosphere. It genuinely feels like stepping out of the city and onto a beach vacation, which is a great way to unwind.

But the real reason I'll be coming back is the food. I ordered the Hawaiian Burger and it was easily one of the best I've had in a while—juicy, perfectly cooked, love the grilled pineapple to death, and served on a fresh bun. And seriously, you have to try the fresh-cut Island Fries; they are perfectly crispy and salty, making them completely addictive.

I also appreciated that the service was super friendly and attentive, which definitely added to the positive vibe. It's clear why this place is a local favorite. It’s perfect for a casual lunch, a family dinner, or grabbing a couple of drinks with friends. I highly recommend making a stop at Islands if you're in the area and craving a truly great burger and a little escape!

Generally positive experience at this island. Usually I will sit at the bar top because they have a great happy hour and the service is tasked but sitting in the restaurant slows things down a little bit.
