The food was delicious, the service excellent, the establishment was clean, portions generous, and cost affordable. We ordered chow mein, fish with black bean sauce, and Mongolian beef. It's not Chinese fast food, it's a sit down restaurant. Surprised it wasn't crowded as the food is delicious. The location is a little non-descript but street parking was easy. I live in Gardena and although there are several Chinese restaurants, none are good. This was a lucky find as restaurant reviews in general tend to result in a bad choice.

Delicious authentic Chinese food. The orange chicken is huge and crispy. Hot and sour soup very flavorful. I love coming here the young girl is always so nice and talkative. 100% recommend

Loved this place!! I was in California last year and enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere to the max! My sister and I still think about the orange chicken even after a year! I think this was the best orange chicken I have ever had it was so crispy/crunchy but the chicken was so juicy and fresh. I cannot wait to go back to California just for this orange chicken.

Umm ordered Togo food from here and it was pure trash , the chicken was hard and covered in so much breading yuk don’t waste your money on this place not worth it

When I walk into J’s place it feels like home! Hands down the best Chinese food in town, you just don’t know it yet. I’ve ordered almost everything on the menu, tonight I went all veg and was satisfied as if they were mains. The layers of flavor and genuine recipes are so tasty- even my picky toddler ate a bunch! The prices are very reasonable, you gotta try it!

Delicious food and kind service! We’ve been looking for a solid Chinese spot near us for a while and this will definitely be our go-to.
