Their ice box is amazing with so many layers of Oreo flavor cake. But, but they don't have it everyday!!!! If you want to try, better call ahead. I went few times without having it.

We are very happy with our two-tier 8" + 10" Pink Pearls And Roses wedding cake. We had purchased a cake for $80 from Sweet Oak because the baker didn't offer samples. We tried to work with her to make modifications but that didn't work out, so we tried Lark Cake Shop because they offered free samples. John allowed us to sample as many flavors as we liked in the form of cupcakes which we picked up in their Silver Lake location. We learned that it truly pays to go with a baker that offers free samples. He said the bottom tier could be different from the top tier so we chose mocha as the bottom tier and berry shortcake as the top tier. The only frosting available was Italian buttercream, which luckily was our favorite. The cake was moist and the frosting was not too sweet; it was delicious and memorable.

Yikes! This shop is selling stuff that's old & should be tossed. We purchased 4 different flavored cupcakes ($16). None were fit to eat. They tasted old & refrigerated, not over baked. After taking bites of each one hoping at least one would be fresh, we threw them all away.

The cupcakes are very tasty but also very small. And I tried to order a birthday cake online and left a message asking for a quote. But unfortunately no one ever contacted me about my proposed order. So I would assume they're either understaffed or not attentive. Overall disappointing.

Tried Lark Cake Shop for the first time recently and was pleasantly surprised. The cakes and cupcakes were all very moist, and all of the flavors were on point. I'm typically a chocolate person, but I tried a lemon cupcake and it was the perfect amount of tart and sweet with plenty of lemony fragrance -- high praise coming from someone who never gets lemon anything! My favorite was the ice box cake (we got the cupcake) -- I saw some other reviews where the cream was overwhelmingly excessive, but the cupcake version we got was perfectly balanced each layer.

Really cute boutique shop, looks very clean inside. Saw a couple ladies coming out and asked what they like there. It was their first time too, and said they are getting the icebox cake... what is that I wondered??So I went in and they only had one variety available.Chocolate. I'm down with that. Knowing the ladies who just left with their purchases had also bought the Ice Box cake, I wasn't concerned that there were only 2 left. I bought one. I had my eye on the red velvet cupcake too, but decided to try one thing.Brought it home and cut it in half. It is quite lovely and a nice presentation.The only problem... didn't seem fresh. Felt like it had been in that ice box display for more an a day. Which is a bummer because it was Friday afternoon. One would think a retail business would gear up for the weekend business with their freshest products ready to go! Although it was pretty, it did not have much flavor at all. Next time I'm in the area I'll try the red velvet.. but that is kind of the gold standard where i measure all bakeries... so I'm vary if it will measure up.... but I'll give it a try.

Amazing cake! Ordered a birthday cake for my mom…berry shortcake. It was beautiful, moist and delicious. I left it out a little over hour and a half to allow it to get room temperature. I was instructed todo this to bring out moistness and flavor. Definitely worked. All the guests loved it.
