Lavender & Honey has always been one of my cozy go-to spots in Pasadena, and today’s chopped Italian salad reminded me why. 🥗

The salad came beautifully put together in a compostable box – generous layers of crisp lettuce topped with sliced salami arranged like a little flower, plenty of chickpeas, shredded cheese, black olives, and fresh diced tomatoes, plus two containers of dressing on the side so nothing gets soggy. Every bite had a good mix of textures and flavors—salty, tangy, and super satisfying without feeling too heavy.

It’s the perfect quick lunch: fresh ingredients, good portion size, and that relaxed café vibe Lavender & Honey is known for. I’d definitely order this chopped Italian salad again next time I’m craving something savory but still on the lighter side.

Been going there for almost three years. The coffee has been just okay so far. But today it tasted really bad. I think the coffee quality can be improved.

Perhaps the most overpriced toast in all of California. Took approximately 30 minutes to get 2 slices of toast out to us. However very kind people work here.

It was my first time coming in and trying out the Italiano based off recommendations from coworkers. It seemed to be lacking in meat compared to what I saw online and in reviews.
Girl who was about to make my sandwich seemed bothered by my asking if my sandwich was coming up soon, I was asking because another staff member told me goodbye previously after handing my drink. I kindly wished a nice day to the girl making the sandwich when my name was called, but she seemed to avoid my gesture.

the service is pretty much always good but if i’m placing my order for pickup it most likely means i’m in a rush or so i won’t wait in line. why is the pick up time always 35 minutes after i pay. not only that but when i go into the store im waiting for my drinks and as the line is growing outside the door, on of the baristas is just there talking and laughing with her hand crossed. it’s okay to talk but AS you’re making the drinks. the line was actually growing and the barista had no sense of urgency.

Their pastries and drinks are not too sweet. The baristas are pleasant and knowledgeable, and the decor is nice. It's a bit of a tight squeeze inside, but still a lovely little coffee shop.

Very cute little coffee shop that had a great menu and lots of additional things for your eyes to wander over, like the local honey.

This is a great place to chill, meet your friends, and have a quick bite while you read. The staff is very thorough, super charismatic, and very knowledgeable about their craft.

I'll definitely continue to visit this spot while I'm in town. Be warned, bring a fully charged laptop/phone if you plan to do any work here. And bring and open appetite to try something new!

Very cute coffee shop with great tasting coffee. I added cinnamon to a vanilla latte and it was very tasty. They do have some indoor and outdoor seating but it was quite busy with a line when I visited around 10 am on a weekday. Despite the size of the line they got through the orders fairly quickly and it didn’t take as long as I anticipated. They have a lot of unique lavender and honey combinations of coffees to try out.
