We were in LA for a few days to visit my daughter and stayed in Pasadena. We found Lovebirds as we drove early one morning looking for breakfast and coffee and ended up eating there twice. The food and service were excellent and we were pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable prices. I had the Chef’s Fried Egg Sandwich, which was fresh, filling and so, so good. Love the staff here. I mean it's the morning every time I go here for a coffee and sandwich or pastry and these girls are all smiles. The turkey sandwich with pesto is the best. The bread here is amazing and they do all their own baking right here. I mean it's not just a great cup of coffee but they have specialty items I take home to bring to friends house as a dessert.
Delicious! Breakfast and lunch all day. However the tea was a bit watered down. They needed to use more ice so it doesn't melt so fast in their teas. So if u order tea, ask for extra ice.
