The menu is a little confusing with a large party. But once we got it figured out our time there was delightful. The food was tasty and the tea was really good. I would love to have tried additional options. Overall I would go back to enjoy another tea time!

Amazing place to have afternoon tea, bridal shower or any event you choose. I had my bridal shower here back in 2017 it was such a joyful experience. The staff were extremely kind, the food was amazing. I've made sure to visit at least once a year since then.

Came here for afternoon tea in Pasadena.
The restaurant is on a quiet street, and the house and garden are very charming.

We ordered the Madeline High Tea set — scones with cream and jam, salad, and desserts. Portions weren’t large, but everything felt well prepared and filling enough.

After eating, it’s nice to walk around and enjoy the space.
Reservations recommended.

A beautiful historic home tucked away in a quiet part of Pasadena. The design is clean, elegant, and very well curated. It feels calm and polished without trying too hard. A great place to slow down and enjoy the environment.

Beautiful historic house in a quiet Pasadena neighborhood. The architecture has a lot of character and is clearly well cared for. The interior and garden are tastefully done without feeling overstyled. A calm, enjoyable place to spend an afternoon.

My partner and I came here for a late Christmas gift and thoroughly enjoyed everything! They have such good vegan high tea menu options and it was all reasonably priced. Harp player was 10/10. Would definitely go again!

Such a delightful surprise -this hidden gem in Pasadena. There is a Local parking structure easy to find if you don’t find street parking.Brought my mother and we did the Madeline experience high tea. Reminded me of my trip to Paris. The decor is lovely, the service is exceptional, the food is yummy and filling and the accompanying harpist is moving. My mother loved it. We didn’t get champagne this time but they have it as an option which is nice. There is a nearby massage place called HM that is great right next to Madeline garden. I would absolutely
return here with my fiancée or Bridgerton loving gal friends. Such a fun experience.

We had an amazing evening at Madeline Garden Bistro & Venue. The garden setting is gorgeous, and the food was exceptional — especially the chef’s seasonal specials. While we were enjoying our meal, the venue’s photographer came by and offered to take a few photos of our group. They captured such natural, candid moments that we wouldn’t have gotten with our phones. Later, we received a printed copy that truly reflected the beauty of the night. It was such a lovely and memorable addition to our dinner.

I went to a beautiful 100-year-old building in Pasadena for afternoon tea. I ordered a high tea set, and there were so many kinds of tea to choose from. I also ordered brunch, and everything was delicious. The surroundings were gorgeous.

Today, my best friend and I went to Pasadena for a truly special and elegant British royal afternoon tea. The entire setting was absolutely beautiful,
with a French garden style that made every photo look stunning.
The presentation was exquisite, and the service was incredibly attentive.
It's perfect for a get-together with friends,
or a leisurely date.

The restaurant is gorgeous. The food was just okay I thought it would be better for $59 per person, probably wont coe back

It's a lovely vintage building with very interesting history.
The harpist is a unique and enjoyable touch. The vegan high tea, however, was a terrible disappointment. The scone was inedible. The sandwiches were meager. The prices were very high and required sharing one pot of tea for two people. Ridiculous. And for that price I would expect loose leaf not tea bags! And I've never had worse service for a tea experience.

Planned a casual afternoon in Pasadena and ended up spending a few relaxing hours at this quiet little tea house hidden among residential streets. The building itself feels like stepping into another era, calm, tasteful, and surprisingly photogenic once you slow down and look around. Nothing felt rushed or overly filling, making it easy to enjoy each course at a relaxed pace. A great choice if you’re looking for an unhurried, elegant afternoon with friends instead of a loud or trendy scene!

Came to Pasadena for afternoon tea with my friends and found this beautiful hidden gem tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The elegant historic house is stunning inside and out, perfect for relaxing and taking photos after the meal. from scones with clotted cream and jam to soup, salad, and a lovely three-tier stand of sweets, everything was well-made and satisfying despite not being overly large portions, a wonderful spot for a classy girls’ day out or a special afternoon tea experience
