Best carne asada torta ive had in a while… yall im not lying. The bread wasnt hard or stale, the sandwich wasnt dry or overly meat heavy like some. JUST BOMB I LOVE U GUYS.

The food is really good. It is a bit pricey and not enough meat on the birria tacos. The meat is only about 2 oz in the center. Most of it is the tortilla and the toppings. Yet I can’t deny it has flavor.

Was walking from work on my way to chipotle for lunch. Passed by this place on the way and saw they serve breakfast. I called and asked what the options were. I heard breakfast tacos and backtracked to Madre Maiz. Breakfast taco comes with cheese and potato cooked right onto the tortilla, choice of ham or bacon, I chose bacon. Egg scrambled or over easy, I chose over easy per the recommendation of the owner(?) Also comes with beans but opted out because I’m allergic. They also have a special breakfast salsa which was amazing. I accidentally poured the entire container on my taco definitively an accident I’ll repeat in the future. Oh and try it on the blue corn tortilla.

I love the flavor of the food, very authentic. The meats are so tender and tasty, the salsas are very flavorful and my favorite is the fresh guacamole and aguas frescas. The customer service is great, I will definitely be back.

Tasty flavorable taco! Lots of various seasoning which gives it more complex flavors versus other typical taco.

Madre Maiz is the BEST restaurant! The food here is made with so much love, very authentic. Silvia was amazing with taking our order and the cook does an amazing job. Authenticity in flavor and presentation. I passed by numerous drives and that was a mistake. People on their way elsewhere will find Madre Maíz Taquería a worthwhile stopover or even a destination! Superb food, fast service, and I had an agua de sandia and it's like a fruit boba with the watermelon juice amended with chunks of watermelon. That's as authentic as it gets. provecho.

Street Tacos with asada are my favorite, and love they also have veggie options. They have great customer service. Good parking lot and just found out they sell their own Mezcal!!

Came here for lunch, ordered the filet minon tacos Juicy, esquite cup (corn) amazing, red and green salsa and horchata( cinnamon drink that tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk) mind blowing.

Highly recommend this place and will make sure to visit it the next time I’m in LA, it’s worth it.

this place is legit. no fuss patio if you're coming thru with a group, quick takeaway if you're solo. the menu is full of delicious items like birria that you don't always see. shout out to Septum Piercing in the front and Mr. Manager in the back, who took extra good care of me. i tried all three salsas and loved them each for different reasons. Enjoy
