Rainy day brunch with one of my favorite people. It wasn't as packed and due to weather every one was indoors. It felt cozy and warm. Service was great. Food was delicious. Cocktails perfect. It's definitely a place we will come back to.
With my best love and thanks to Emily and her team at Magnolia House, my home-from-home for two years. I was a Westside of LA girl until the fires pushed me from Spruzzo on Palisades Drive to Magnolia House. Not only are my expectations met, but when I arrived to host a brunch this morning Emily already had a pillow for my back in my favorite chair! This is a class act with a cook who never disappoints. I am too sick with fatal cancer to be out at night, but I am sure evenings...
The food was very tasty. I had the hamburger which was savory. Grilled onions, cooked to the correct temperature and it paired with a California blonde beer. The staff was attentive and the experience was fun. We will repeat our experience soon. A new fun place for dinner.
