Lovely! We were a party of three and ordered the seafood rice, the mixed plate of short rib steak, skirt steak and Argentinian chorizo, and grilled corn on the cob to share. All dishes were excellent. Service was superb. We will return.
Host was not very welcoming or friendly. The place is super-noisy , I had trouble listening to my friend across the table. Very slow service. We've been going Malbec for many years, my first really subpar experience with them.
Very nice and really good food 👌

Very few waiters that we're trying to serve everyone. They need to hire a couple of more to provide better service.
High quality Argentinian food. Sweetbreads were fantastic. Great service as well

I believe the price is very high by an extra 20-30% or so compared to what was received and the name of the place. I expected authentic Argentine style cuisine. It is more of an American style of Argentine food, intended for the blandest of palets. While the meats were tender and juicy, it is balanced with tiny portions. Normally that is automatically balanced with a side of something, but here that is an extra cost, or if you get a premium side, much more. I should mention that everything from the bar was mixed very well. I would give the bar mixes a B+. I went on a busy Saturday dinner rush, so getting the waiter's attention did require a bit more effort. Additional loss of value when you need to use the bathrooms. Hold your breath and ignore the worst designed bathroom on earth. Final thoughts are hard to find parking. Skip this place unless you have an expensive client to impress with you paying a large bill.

•The grilled meats are a highlight. Cuts like entraña (skirt steak), rib-eye, and short ribs are frequently praised for being cooked to near perfection and well flavored. •There's a good variety beyond just steaks: empanadas, ceviche, grilled octopus, and seafood dishes make the menu more interesting and appealing to non–meat-only diners. •Appetizers and small plates get a lot of love. The warm bread + chimichurri, Pulpo appetizer (grilled octopus with aji Amarillo aioli), spinach-cheese empanadas, etc., are repeatedly mentioned as tasty. •For dessert, dulce de leche items and traditional sweets are popular. The Panqueque de Dulce de Leche is often named in write-ups. •The restaurant has an upscale yet approachable feel. It's elegant, dim-lit, romantic in parts (especially booths or window tables), though the main dining area is more open. •It's clean, nicely appointed, and the staff are generally attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Multiple reviews cite how servers guide the experience well, making recommendations etc. •Service is often singled out as a strong point: when things aren't quite right (like a steak done more than asked), staff often respond promptly to correct it. •Value is subjective: many feel that for what you get — the quality of ingredients, the grill work, the ambiance — the prices are reasonable for fine dining. Others think that some dishes may be a bit pricey, but still “worth it” for special occasions. Minor Drawbacks •Parking: Street parking on Green Street tends to fill up. Several reviews warn about having to walk or use public lots or park farther away. If you're going during peak dinner hours,
This Argentinian restaurant is vibrant and cozy. Every dish was delicious, with generous portions—even the complimentary bread at the start was excellent. The Malbec salad and the dry Malbec wine are absolute must-tries.
Everything was good. It wasn't too busy since the reservation was for early dinner. Wished the server would be friendlier and attentive.
The restaurant has potential. The drinks were good but the food was bland. There was no distinct flavor on anything, although everything was cooked correctly. Even with salt and pepper it was hard to pull flavor out. That is a shame especially considering the price of everything.

Our dinner was excellent, and the steaks cooked beautifully (I like medium rare meat and my friend likes well done). We each ordered a Malbec salad but our server suggested splitting one salad due to the size of said salad. I appreciated his honesty (the salad was quite large). I will be going again.
Fantastic and great service! It was my wife's birthday and we had an amazing dinner and evening
Exceptional service and great steak. The calamari was a favorite for me. Very happy we found this place when we randomly decided to try it for a late lunch. We'll definitely be coming back.
Food is outstanding! Service is great. We tried to sit outside because inside it can be quite loud.
It was my significant other's birthday. We were at the Music Center. So where else to go for dinner but Malbec in Pasadena? We had been there many times before. We always have been very happy there. We hope to be there many times in the future. Everything for the evening there was excellent. The wait staff, the food, and our table were wonderful. Go! You will be very happy that you did.
