Malbec Argentinean Cuisine

Wonderful find on a quiet street. Everything was excellent, from the food to the service. It was thoughtfully prepared with interesting touches from salad to desserts. Good wine list and knowledgeable staff made pairing a breeze. Full bar too. I could go on but I will just say, go. Go to this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. I'm returning and bringing friends.

Relaxing at home after the best night out. Dinner at Malbec, top notch service and recommendations. Our server made us feel like we were the only people there, while she took excellent care of the 10+ table next to us. Perfect night, perfect service, perfect food!

Food is great. Can get a little loud in main room. Servers should give more time to order. Felt rushed.

We celebrated our aunt's birthday. The food was delicious! Our server was friendly and was able to answer our questions. He even made suggestions that made our meal even better!

We went to Melbec for dinner using the dine LA special menu. They had a good choice for red meat and also fish. One dinner was oxtail ragut sauce with papperdelle noodles and the other one was roasted. Both were very tasty and a very good portion too. The service was excellent. And the cocktails were good and the draft beer choices were minimal but diverse. It was a quaint evening, we dine in the middle of the week. 

Our waiter was amazing and knew the menu really well. So thankful for what a great experience he gave me and my two teens with introducing us to Argentinean food.

We went there our first time from Dine LA week. My wife and I had there Dine LA prefix menu. Overall, the food and portion were quite generous. However, my Argentinean 12 oz Ribeye steak were quite blue as I ordered medium. And the green peppercorn sauce tasted very funky with it.

Our first time visiting Malbec and we will return. The food, wine, and service was very good! What a nice local gem....

I had high hopes for this place. I dont know how the 4.5 came about. My food was very bad. What I mean is the following: I had the $57 Steak. It was chewy and old. My guest had the Pasta that didn't have flavor. The complementary bread was small and cold. How about you guys taste your food once in a while. The sparkling bottled water was great.

I ordered the lamb chops, bone marrow, and avocado cucumber salad, and it ended up being the perfect combination. The lamb chops were cooked just right — juicy, flavorful, and tender — and the bone marrow had that rich, silky depth that paired beautifully with everything else. The avocado cucumber salad was fresh and light, giving a nice balance to the richer dishes.

Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and well made, and the service was great too — attentive without being pushy, which made the whole meal feel even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a spot with satisfying, well-balanced dishes and smooth service, this place is totally worth a visit.

When we visit the Los Angeles area we make sure to add a dinner at Malbec. The wine and food is exceptional and the service is excellent as well. Go on a weekday night so you can enjoy a corner booth and the ambience. Thank you, Dennis, for making our evening even more special.

Rosa was a wonderful server, food came out quickly, was served hot, and tasted delicious. Chocolate mousse is a must. Will be back, wonderful neighborhood gem.

I would highly recommend Malbec for the expansive menu, from Argentinian appetizers to delicious deserts. We went for a Sunday brunch, and were promptly seated, courteously attended to, and specially served. The day was enhanced not only by the freshly prepared empanadas, but the presentation. It was a memorable lunch, never rushed by the staff.

Great atmosphere. Came in on a rainy day without reservations just before the evening rush and enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be back
