Fantastic and great service! It was my wife's birthday and we had an amazing dinner and evening
Exceptional service and great steak. The calamari was a favorite for me. Very happy we found this place when we randomly decided to try it for a late lunch. We'll definitely be coming back.
Food is outstanding! Service is great. We tried to sit outside because inside it can be quite loud.
It was my significant other's birthday. We were at the Music Center. So where else to go for dinner but Malbec in Pasadena? We had been there many times before. We always have been very happy there. We hope to be there many times in the future. Everything for the evening there was excellent. The wait staff, the food, and our table were wonderful. Go! You will be very happy that you did.
drive by here a lot and always a line/crowd outside. Finally got to experience dinner with my kindergarten best friend forever after a play at a nearby theater. We loved it! Will definitely be back!
Six of us go every year in May. We love the food, the service, the atmosphere, the whole experience. Highly recommend!
The food was amazing. One of the best meals ever. Waiter suggestions were spot on. Had sole with spinach and roasted potatoes. Memorable dining experience for sure.
I've been to Malbec multiple times over the years, and not once has it ever faltered in both food quality or service. From their starters all the way to dessert, nothing disappoints.
Food was excellent. We had a combination tabla of skirt steak rare and prime rib rare it was so good and tender had chimichuri sauce . We ordered empanadas which was delicious and a side order of sausages
Awesome service and excellent food. We had the Tomahawk steak (medium rare excellent), brussel sprouts (undercooked), and mash potatoes, calamari. Will come back again.

Service was great, and food the delicious. We had the mejillones as an appetizer and it was the highlight of the night. Rib eye was also huge and cooked perfectly.
We celebrated our 24th Anniversary as a family. The quality and taste of their food is always top notch and consistent. The service is outstanding and the ambience is warm and comfortable. Malbec is one of our favorite restaurants!
We had five courses, all delicious and ample for sharing with two. The menu was so varied, and interesting that we put it on our ‘ must return soon' list. Sweet & fantastic staff. We loved our entire experience. Andrea Turner
We were seated in the banquet room, where there is not much charm. Service was attentive, taking care of presenting each dish, removing finished plates, and being nearby, usually, when attention was wanted. Cocktail Manhattan quite nicely made. The Malbec we ordered was ok. The food was fresh, properly prepared. The main dishes were rich, but not balanced with a vegetable. I could have eaten 1/3 less of the main and had a break from the richness of cremes, fats and spices with some smaller side of something less rich, pasta, rice or a vegetable. Our desert was creme brulé. Seemed like it was not just prepared for us, no heat in the caramelized topping, neither hot nor cold center, and underwhelming as a result. Almost every restaurant these days has this dessert offered, so one would hope to have an excellent version at Malbec. I doubt we will dine here again. Sorry.
It's been a few years since I visited Malbec and I was very impressed with the remodeling and expansion that occurred. Visited on a Sunday for lunch and the place was not busy. We got a great table at one of the booths. One of my friends is a frequent visitor to Malbec and the manager & staff know him. The service and the various food dishes were excellent. The empanadas were fabulous-tried the spinach one & the corn one. We each had different entrees: the Remolachas Y Peras salad with salmon, the Caracu (bone marrow), and the Espaguetis Bolonesa (pasta with Bolognese). Overall, it was a wonderful lunch.
