Impeccably flavorful black tea. Only question is, did they mean for the black tea latte to be served at room temp?
Their coffees are so so good! They wait is really long

I was looking for a cute coffee shop to go to with my husband and this definitely met my expectations. We felt transported to another country immediately because of the aesthetics they have curated here. We had to wait about 35-45 minutes for the coffee and the baristas were nice. I got a ham and cheese croissant (I would rate it a 7/10) and the Vienna with oatmilk (which was the best out of the Toasty and Matcha) in my opinion (8.5/10). My husband got a croffin and the Toasty, and he liked the croffin more than the Toasty. The croffin was really good, and I agreed that the Toasty didn’t blow me away. We ordered Matcha for my sister to go and she said initially it was average, but as you stirred it up it got better. Overall this was a really cute coffee shop with good pastries, nice baristas, and good coffee. If you’re open to wait for the line, I would definitely make my way down to mandarin to try out their coffee!

It used to be my morning coffee place but now you have to anticipate a super long wait. Their Vienna latte without syrup inside the coffee is so good. I love the spam kimchi croissant as well. They also supply good and various coffee beans so once you try the selected coffee beans you will start to but the coffee beans from the merchandiser.
Excellent food and drinks, usually the wait can be anywhere from 5-40min depending on what time of day it is. There is a 4 person max inside the coffee shop so you’ll be waiting outside in the shade (if the line is only within the Burlington arcade). The Hojicha matcha and Vienna latte are my favorite. Service can be slow but they make everything fresh in front of you.

Why does it take 15 minutes to make 4 cups of coffee (that how long it took for the 4 people in front of us)….standing in line takes forever . Yeah, it’s nice coffee, but not worth the 30 minute wait (in a relatively short line).

Genuinely some of the rudest workers. I went today with my friend, and when we walked inside, the worker rudely told us to step out. After ordering, we were chatting (at a reasonably volume) and the worker told us, “you need to stop shouting.” We were completely baffled. The matcha itself was fine. Very basic. Definetly not worth the shitty service. Would not recommend.

Very well operated coffee shop, friendly staff, and amazing coffee. They have single origin available for espresso drinks, matcha, pastries, and high quality coffee beans to buy and make at home. The only downside is the limited seating and there can be a bit of a line, but it moves quickly. In any case, I’m not in LA often, but when I am, I have to stop by mandarin.

The line was insane, they do move pretty fast once you’re inside. I thought the coffee was just okay, I don’t think I’d ever wait in this line again for it…
