I was scrambling to find a spot for a family get together a huge party of 17 people and we had basically no notice. I called this place up expecting to get turned down but they were so incredibly friendly on the phone and told us to come right over. When we walked in they had a huge table already set up for us and greeted us with smiles it was such a relief and made us feel welcome right away instead of feeling like a burden which can happen with big groups you know. The service was just fantastic all night but what really stood out was how they handled the bill. We had multiple families that needed to pay separately and they handled it without any issue at all no fuss no confusion they just made it simple and easy for everyone. That kind of service is so rare and so appreciated. Okay lets talk about the food because it was genuinely incredible. The chips were warm and the salsa had the perfect little kick. I ordered the chicken street tacos with a side of beans and the tacos were so tender and flavorful, truly some of the best ive ever had. Everyone at our table was raving about their meals from the giant burritos to the sizzling fajitas everything came out hot and fresh. The portions are huge so you definitely get your moneys worth. The atmosphere is just so lively and fun it feels like a real celebration. The staff really are the stars though they were so attentive constantly checking in refilling drinks and just being super positive and helpful. They managed our massive table with such efficiency and grace. It was just an all around perfect experience from beginning to end. We all left so happy and full. The staff is Amazing and I definitely plan to return again. This has become my new favorite spot when visiting my family.

Just an update regarding their online prices vs the prices you actually see on the menu when you arrive. Everything is 2 to 3.00 higher when you get there.
This restaurant is a San Gabriel Valley staple. Excellent cantina style Mexican food. Huge menu. I grew up here and the legacy of this place has been a staple since I we just a kid. I know they have a great buffet but my go to is usually the great carnitas plate. Lately however I'm on a Mexican shrimp cocktail phase for the low carb and high taste quotient. Their cocktail de Cameronis full of plump fresh shrimp, served as it should with Tapotillo and (I never knew why) crackers. Their ceviche tostada rocks, beer selection very extensive. Full bar, they will bring you different salsas if you ask.
With the massive unfortunate influx of alternative cultural cuisine in our area I can only hope that this one bastion of our local culture can service. We lost Casa del Rey in Temple City a few years back. It's so much harder to experience the cuilinary heratige that was once a staple in our area.
Margaritas is one of those pillars of our local culture that we must support, enjoy, and preserve for our posterity.
Remember Azteca? El Poche? Panchitos?
Update: taco Tuesday's rock with $2.75 full size hard tacos and soft taco assortment. What with chips and salsa and two tacos I was full and contented. All three dining areas were full of satisfied diners. Margaritas is a Bastion of our Cuisine and culture. I hope it stays around for a long time.
I love visiting this place. A great spot to hangout with some friends over food and margaritas

My friends and I visited Margaritas Mexican Restaurant for the first time today. The service was outstanding and the food was so good! We each had a small bowl of Abondigas Soup and a one item combo. The soup was amazing...filled with fresh vegetables and meatballs. We will be back. We brought our friend for her birthday and we loved the food.

Sunday brunch was EXCELLENT. You have to try brunch here. Traditional Mexican foods, a variety of desserts, waffle bar, omelet bar, taco/burrito bar and mimosas. Not super friendly for my gluten and dairy allergies, but found food that I could have.

Bright and pleasant inside the restaurant. I got the flautas with beans. The beans were tasty. The parking spaces are SMALL and close to the restaurant. Large vehicles will have a difficult time parking.

My wife and I were in Arcadia and looking for lunch and saw this listing. It is a little bit hidden away so watch for the driveway. Nice and cozy inside, got quick service, chips and water without waiting. Lots of variety of margaritas l, I got a pineapple and it was better than the off-script margaritas usually are. My wife got a premium but it was a bit strong for her. We got some steak nachos to share and it was a LOT of food. We were still not hungry 5 hours later at dinner time. Service was good. If you are in the area pay them a visit.
The service was amazing! The waitresses made it feel very friendly and homey and kept checking on us. The salsa was very good and tasted homemade. I had the flautas and my boys picked out from the kids menu. Would definitely return:)
