We really like Maria's Italian Kitchen and I think sitting outside was the reason for the slower service. And that's bc our regular waiter Alfredo wasn't there and he spoils us! A couple small issues with the sauces not being made the same as it was the last time we were there. And I was disappointed with the lasagna. We will return!! I highly recommend.

The pasta here tastes homemade and fresh every time. I ordered the lasagna and it came out bubbling hot with tons of cheese. The servers are attentive but not overbearing. The space feels cozy and welcoming. Great spot for comfort Italian food without the fancy price tag.

I've been to Maria's for about a year now. Have tried the Chicken/Shrimp Alfredo, Lasagna, Pizza, ricotta and spinach calzone and other dishes and always feel satisfied! Good quality food and exceptional service! Weekends may be a little busy in the evening but worth the wait! Recommend this restaurant

I am never ordering from this restaurant again after my experience which is disappointing because the food is decent. I was BARELY able to feed a party of 15-30 total and paid over $500 and still had to run out and buy 3 costco pizzas. $500 worth of food sounds like a lot but it was not apparently. I wish I just ordered from another place and maybe got my money's worth. Guests took modest portions from multiple dishes...I got 1 large chicken dish, 2 large pasta dishes, a large salad, a large tiramisu, and 2 small dishes (25 mini meatballs and 24 meat ravioli). You're telling me that I paid $83 for 3oz of chicken per person with a large chicken piccata??? when my partner came back with the order I thought there was a mistake and that we got small containers. The only item that proportionally made sense as a large was the antipasti salad. YOU WILL NOT GET THE QUANTITY YOU PAY FOR. PORTIONS ARE TINY even thought they advertise feeding 8-12. Called management can was told I didn't order enough food after going around in circles. Funny enough the manager said I should have called in the order but online it says the opposite (on their website its says its easier and better to order catering online and sure I shouldn't have assumed, that's on me, but come on).

It is very rare I write reviews, but I feel like I have to because of how amazing this food was. As a vegan I absolutely loved the food. My family who isn't vegan enjoyed their food as well. Highly recommend!!

Delicious food, very pleasant service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Large open dining room as well as a patio outside. A shining mom and pop gem in an area where there are mostly bland corporate restaurants.

A delicious homestyle Italian place in Pasadena that’ll make sure your fictitious Italian ancestors don’t roll over in their graves and curse you. Prices are fair for what their portion sizes are relative to the upscaled prices of Pasadena as a whole. A good place to visit if you just want a good hearty pasta meal in a casual environment sits in between a dirty hole in the wall pizzeria that makes bomb pizzas and a high-class ristorante where the waiter judges what shoes you wear. To sum it all up this is a superior Olive Garden.
