The food was ok my chicken was above average but too much salt for my taste. I asked for a chopped salad but the restaurant didn't serve it that way. We were told are sever was training it was obvious. And it took about 10 to get our drinks. Something was lacking.

This is a classic Italian restaurant in great area of Pasadena. If you want a traditional experience with staff that knows what they're doing this is the place. Excellent food and service. Busy and deservedly so.

Our food & service were excellent. We made the choice to sit outside and the number of fire trucks, police sirens, and motorcycles made conversation a challenge. Prices are a bit high, but overall value was good. Our server was patient and attentive and our salad and ravioli were superb!

Wife and I dined last night. Marco was our server and was the epitome of professionalism. His recommendations (Bruschetta, Seared Rainbow Trout, fresh vegetable medley, Black Diamond burger, mashed potatoes) was fantastic. Mi Piace is a warm, comfortable, friendly community restaurant. Along with Marco, the owner (Armen) came by and wanted to ensure our dining experience was top notch. It was. We will be back. Thank you Mi Piace !!!!

Can't miss food. EVERY plate over the years. If I lived nearby this could be a weekly stop.

The food here is excellent and the service was spot on. The ambiance seemed a little tired and cliche. I thought the prices were a tad on the high side but we were from out of town so I didn't have a good reference. My spouse had the spaghetti aglio d'olio with a couple of scallops (nice customization). The scallops were grilled perfectly and the pasta was al dente. The sauce was nice and light with a good punch of lemon and garlic. I had farfalle with a vodka cream sauce and smoked salmon. It was wonderful. Overall, it was a very nice way to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary.

We enjoyed dining here immensely. Service and food were excellent. Started with the calamari, which was accompanied by a cilantro lime dipping sauce, much lighter than what many other restaurants offer. For our mains we had the vitello alla milanese and the special Chilean sea bass. Both were beautifully prepared and presented. The portions of both were quite large, so if ordering be sure to bring your appetite.

Me and my family had a good lunch on Saturday, the items were all delicious, the seafood stew was with some uncooked-well spaghetti in the bowl, our service lady ( I’m sorry I forgot her name, she is a short-hair cute lady) please to replace a new one right the way. I really appreciate her service, her attitude was warm and friendly. I planned to bring my whole family come over next time.

We went for Sunday brunch. We saw many servers standing around chatting and not really paying attention to us. Our server disappeared but we were able to order from one of the assistants.

Great ambiance! Excellent service by Frank. Frank was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and kept checking on us frequently. Delicious food. Sumptuous dessert. We had a great dinner. We love Mi Piace and will continue to return frequently.

We love this place for lunch. They have a salad called the “Ensalada de Taos” which is, hands down the most delicious salad I've ever eaten. Othe selections are good too. There are outside tables on the sidewalk which are great for people watching, or sit inside the handsome dining room in the air conditioning. Either way, you'll probably love it! ?

Our server Sandra was the best part of the experience. It was a strange atmosphere. Prices inflated. $100 for 2 entres, a beer, and one dirty martini. They gave us 6 menus…Food had an off taste…

Definitely won’t be back but thank you Sandra for your sincere hospitality.

We were looking for a place to eat and most places had a line and a wait. We walked by here and decided to stop in. The was seating inside and lots of tables outside. We checked in at the hostess stand and she said they would get our table ready which was outside. It took several minutes for them to refresh the table and seat us. After sitting down we waited for about 10 minutes before our person came over to assist us. He was very friendly and nice but since we had ample time already to review the menu we knew what we wanted and did not have to get drinks first. We ordered and it was another several minutes before we got the appetizer which was the bruschetta, which should not have taken nearly that long to get. It was an ample size and tasted great. Very tasty. Our main courses arrived and the portion to cost ratio was a little lacking. The dishes were nicely plated. Both were tasty. For the cost, we each had an entree and the appetizer and just water to drink. The bill was $100 with tip. Sitting outside was nice with the weather being pleasant but I would not recommend the outside seating and there are always loud obnoxious cars and motorcycles cruising up and down the roadway. There was also one person on a small minibike that drive up on the sidewalk and past by. Sit inside for sure if you visit.

Saturday, July 20, 2024, we made dinner reservations via open table app. Assistant manager seated us. Food not as good as 1 year before. Ate & paid cash. Few days later, open table sent text inquiry to confirm we had indeed fulfilled said reservation & we replied Yes. As of this writing, no reply or open table credit for the reservation.
