Great Italian food, wonderful atmosphere, and great service. This was our third visit to Mi Piace and we have loved every meal.

Mi Piace is clearly popular as the restaurant was busy. The menu is too large. This is a tell tale hint at unfocused concept, inconsistent quality, or reliance on convenience ingredients. Case in point, my Scampi shrimp were tough and the pasta was undercooked. French fries were over seasoned and over priced. The pizza and chicken parm were just ok. The desserts looked and tasted machine made. The house cab was delicious. I spent more than $250 for dinner for 3. We will not be returning as Mi Piace is definitely not the place for me.

Excellent experience although it would've been nice to have heard a “Happy anniversary “ from anyone at the restaurant. When I completed the rsvp online, I did mention it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ oh well but everything else was A+

Extremely busy last night and it took over 45 minutes before we even received our food, which was a bit frustrating, considering the table next to us who arrived later, received their food.

A hidden (not-so-hidden) gem in the heart of Pasadena. Have walked past the place too many times, until I made a reservation. The atmosphere is cool, while the place is very 70’s. The food: so far, one of the best tasting Italian restaurants. Cannot recommend anything in particular because the options are all over the place, so take your chance and treat yourself to this place. It gets busy, so go with a reservation… and just enjoy.

We were invited guests for a business lunch, so this was our first time at this restaurant. The person who invited us has been there several times before. The layout and decor of the restaurant was very nice and welcoming. We sat down and everything was going smoothly until we asked our waitress about an item on the menu only to be told that item was only for Sunday brunch. We then asked about a steak item and if they could add an egg and said she would check and come back. She did not and went to other tables getting their order and was about 10 plus minutes before she came by our table, not to ask us if we were ready to order as I HAD TO ASK HER that we were ready to order. Her reply was not what we expected. She did not mention anything about adding an egg, so basically, she forgot. Maybe it was going to several other tables before coming back to ours. We made our order, my colleague ordered a steak meal with salad but was brought a vegetable plater (not what he ordered). She got his order wrong. She did apologize and asked if he wanted to make the steak and he said no as it would take too long. She then offered a meatball which he accepted, thought it would be complimentary considering the mistake, but she charged it to the bill. Wow! After all that, she did loosen up and was kind the rest of the way. Finished with coffee and their apple pie with vanilla ice cream, which was a new taste as it included rosemary. Made the apple pie stand out. A definite must have if you're going to have dessert. So out of 5 stars, we gave overall 4 stars.

Walked in on a Friday evening. Short wait for a great table. Excellent suggestions from wait staff, the food suggestions were incredible! Vibe was just what we wanted, sophisticated and comfortable. Thanks again!

We will not be returning to this restaurant. From the start, the service was very poor. It took almost 20 minutes for anyone to return to our table after we were seated, despite the restaurant not being busy.

The food was also disappointing. We ordered a simple pizza and salad. The pizza was extremely tough and difficult to eat, and the salad was just average. On top of that, we were offered bread with oil and vinegar dip for the table without being told it would be an extra charge, only to be surprised when it appeared on our bill. I have never been to a restaurant that presents bread as a complimentary starter and then charges for it without notice.

To end the experience, it took more than 10 minutes for our bill to arrive. With the restaurant being far from busy, there was no excuse for such delays in service.

Overall, between the long waits, disappointing food, hidden charges, and lack of attentiveness, this was not a pleasant dining experience.

Been coming to this AMAZING restaurant for many years.

Great location with elegant inside seating and lovely patio seating. Perfect for dinner date night or Sunday brunch with friends.

Their menu has lots of yummy options. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Portions are ok.

Service/staff is excellent.
They do get a bit busy in the evening.
