Nice ambience setting. Reminds me of an upscale New York type vibe inside. Usually crowded on weekends. Reservations help minimize wait time on most nights. Has an upscale bar and restaurant atmosphere. The best and freshest pasta dishes with delicious oven baked pizza.

It was our first time here and we were delighted by everything we ordered!
The 10 layer lasagna was sooo soft and flavorful!! The staff made us feel welcome and the waiter provided amazing service.

Definitely would recommend this place for a night out in old town Pasadena, especially if you love pasta. Make sure you leave space for the tiramisu!

Located on the north side of Colorado Blvd in Old Town Pasadena.
Went for lunch on a Friday, restaurant was maybe half full but it was too loud for me. Service felt a bit slow. I tried the lobster chowder and the pastrami sandwich. I was not a fan of the chowder, but the pastrami made up for it.
There’s a paid parking structure nearby and paid street parking.
I’d like to try other things on their menu, but the atmosphere isn’t for me.

It was either the manager or owner that came by our table, nice touch. The food, music, service and atmosphere was all fantastic.

The service was amazing, Frank did a great job taking care of my mom's dietary needs. The food was good, a bit overpriced.

Authentic Italian without trying to be Italian. Never a disappointment 💯

I've dined here before and had much better experiences, which is why this visit was disappointing overall. The food and service were noticeably off, especially for a Saturday night. The mushroom pizza was solid and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the trout dish missed the mark—the fish was dried out and overwhelmed by too much sauce, which took away from its natural flavor. The pasta with garlic and olive oil was fine, but not particularly memorable. Service was very slow. I ordered a glass of wine that took more than 20 minutes to arrive, and by the time it came, we were already preparing to leave and I had to send it back. Because I've had better meals and service here in the past, I'm willing to give it another try. However, based on this visit, I can't give it a great review. Hopefully this was just an off night, because I know they're capable of better.

I haven't been to this restaurant for years, but had a wonderful experience and wanted to go back for my birthday. There is no more valet parking. The wait time was 35 minutes even with a reservation. The service was slow, another 20 minutes to take an order and 30 waiting for food. The table was ignored for drink refills. There is no more bread basket while you wait. My favorite dish, butternut squash ravioli, was drowned in butter and the pasta was rubbery. What has happened to this restaurant? I won't return.

20 years after our first date we returned with kids to celebrate my wife's birthday - everything was wonderful!

As always! Never disappointed. Fantastic seafood pasta and of grilled veggies. My friend got the Parmesan chicken and she was delighted! I have been dining here for 20 years and won't continue to do so.

We arrived a few minutes before our 7:45 reservation and was told that it would be a few minutes. There were a lot of people waiting. We went over by the lounge and waited. After 30 minutes I went over and was told they had a few tables getting up so it wouldn't be long. Another 15 minutes and I went up and they pointed to a table and said they just need to clear it and we'll come get you. Another 15 minutes and I see other people sitting at that table. The hostess says that she thought that was us. I see a manager and tell him we had a reservation an hour ago and all he says is we are doing the best we can. I understand being busy, but they never communicated from the beginning. If they said we are over booked and you will have to wait an hour, ok no problem. We could have ordered apps at the bar and all is good. 75 minutes after our reservation we are seated and brought a complimentary bruschetta by the owner and he said thank you for waiting. The server was very attentive and did a great job. At the end the owner came over and asked how everything was. I asked him what happened with the wait time. He says that that is normal as most restaurants over book due to cancellations. I told him I come from the restaurant industry and waiting 75 minutes when you have a reservation is not only not normal but very wrong. He disagreed and said he had friends at restaurants like Spago and he always waits 30 to 45 minutes even with a reservation. I have been to Spago may times and many other high end restaurants and never waited 75 minutes with a reservation. He seems very complacent with this being a normal thing. Which it is not. We will not return to an establishment that cares more about filling their seats than the experience they give the customer.
