My husband and I were visiting the LA area last week. We walked into Mi Piace - it was Monday, they were open when so many places weren’t. So glad we did. It was fabulous-great food, fair prices and a wonderful server.
Try the minestrone. Amazing. Salad was great, too.
Mi Piace is clearly popular as the restaurant was busy. The menu is too large. This is a tell tale hint at unfocused concept, inconsistent quality, or reliance on convenience ingredients. Case in point, my Scampi shrimp were tough and the pasta was undercooked. French fries were over seasoned and over priced. The pizza and chicken parm were just ok. Excellent experience although it would've been nice to have heard a “Happy anniversary “ from anyone at the restaurant. When I completed the rsvp online, I did mention it. 🤷🏻♀️ oh well but everything else was A+
