A family owned restaurant that has been operating for over 100 years, and there is a reason they have been thriving for so long. One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to for sure. The restaurant is huge, and was packed even on a Wednesday evening. Seems like happy hour is very popular here, and they have a buffet lunch as well. Gigantic portions and absolutely delicious, highly recommended!
Not every day that you get to go to a restaurant that has been in business for over 100 years. With the food and service here, it is no wonder.
Food is very good and filling. I had the chili Colorado, which is one of my favorites at Mexican restaurants. The meat was much closer to carne asade than the chunks at most restaurants. It was cooked well with a delicious sauce. Absolutely recommend.

Mijares, I really enjoyed our visit there. I ordered the guacamole bowl with chips, which was fantastic. The wet carne asada burritos and chicken tacos were also delicious. Five stars from me – a great experience overall!
