Every time I visit family in Arcadia I have to go to Millie’s. Love their options and always a wonderful meal.
I get the buckwheat pancakes every time I go, but this time the pancake tasted sour. So I sent it back.
One pancake sent back, out of 6 other things we ordered. Didn’t seam like a big deal, the server was really nice and I figured it was a fluke and wasn’t worried.
But then the host (owner?) came by and made sure in ear shot to say it tasted fine and people tried it. Very passive aggressive and belittling.
It was just a single pancake added on, so it’s not like we were trying to get out of paying, we tipped 20%—so what did she feel was accomplished by coming over 5 feet away from the table and claiming the pancake was fine? Say it to the table or say it in the kitchen, but don’t be passive aggressive.
World is p grim right now, seems like being kind is the easiest thing to do, but that’s too much to ask.

This was my first visit. The parking was free and easy to find a place. My breakfast was delicious. I got 2 eggs, toast, and fruit. My son enjoyed his blueberry waffle very much. The only negative was the noise level inside. We'll be back and sit outside next time.

One of the worst brunch spot. My husband and I came for brunch today and we got two different orders wrong, after receiving food we had to wait awhile to get utensils because they forgot to give us some. I also ordered a French toast to go and it came on a plate because they forgot it was to go order. After taking it back, we have spent another 15 to 20 minutes for it. I thought since waiting that long it’ll be a new order and all sauces and whip cream will be on the side, so my French toast won’t get soggy but turned out we were waiting all that time just for them to pack it as it was before and I received soggy and cold French toast. I do not recommend that place!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but my friend and I had a strange experience here. The food and service were great, but then a waitress came up to us and said the manager is asking that we pay the bill and leave? 😭 She didn’t say why, it sort of felt like we were being kicked out. Not sure if there’s a time limit on how long you can dine inside? We were there maybe an hour, and we hadn’t finished our food yet. It was just really weird. Again, tasty food. Just odd.
No food is good if the waiter throws the plate at you! I will definitely never return to this place again and I recommend to everyone who reads this message that there are great places where you can start your day with a delicious breakfast accompanied by good vibes and a delicious coffee. This place is definitely not the right place, look for another one for example Nano Cafe!!!

Food was okay. Not really into places that have 18% tip as the minimum on the screen and then hold the screen for you while you’re inputting the tip. We had to ask to get our coffee refilled as well.

I’ve been to Millie’s a million times, and I always order the iced pistachio latte with oatmilk because I can’t have dairy.
Today, I ordered that and the waitress told me that the latte cannot be made with oatmilk because it’s made with pistachio milk.
I was confused because on the menu it says “with your choice of milk” and I always order with oatmilk and have never had an issue. So I said “can I still have it with oatmilk?” And she said no, that it was only with pistachio milk.
Pistachio milk is not even an option for the nondairy milks. So I kept asking about using oatmilk and told her I cannot have dairy at all. She kept insisting it is not dairy, it is pistachio milk made with pistachios.
I was super hesitant because no one had ever said that to me at Millie’s, they always happily make it with oatmilk. But you could tell she was getting annoyed with me, and since she assured me it was nondairy, I let it go.
When I got the latte, I tasted it and all it tasted like was the pistachio flavoring they use, and it was kind of thin so I didn’t think twice. I drank almost all of it waiting for my food and my stomach started feeling a little weird.
We ate our food, and then when we got the bill it said “pistachio latte, 2% milk, extra shot of espresso.”
Their lattes are huge, and I drank almost all of it. Honestly it was super upsetting. I cannot have dairy, I haven’t had it in 8 years. They are lucky I don’t have a severe allergy.
So she had no idea what she was talking about, and now I’m suffering from her mistake.
