Miss Cheese Tea Cafe

It saddens me to write this review as I generally want to support smaller businesses, but the customer service here wasn’t great. My girlfriend and I were the only two people in the store for a while and our order was ready the whole time, since we ordered ahead of time. There was only one staff there but she seemed to ignore us. My girlfriend asked about our order but the staff was upset and spoke in a loud, aggressive tone. The drinks were not bad but the service was.

Shame, because I was looking forward to trying out this place for a while.

I ordered the popcorn fried chicken and added spicy powder for an extra $1. When I got my chicken, there was no spicy powder. I asked the staff and she said it's on the bottom of the chicken and she added a little sprinkle of chili powder. Really??! On the bottom, plus there was nothing on the bottom. The chicken didn't taste good and it was super dry.

Really great food, very conveniently located next to the Pasadena convention center. Plan on waiting a bit if you order during a convention event, as the shop appears to have a small staff. They make a great souffle pancake though!

I just stopped by and chose the large popcorn chicken. I recieved atleast two pounds of lightly breaded extra crispy popcorn chicken. The flavor was excellent and the portion size was amazing for the price. I also purchased a strawberry green tea. The flavor and size was great for 3.99. I highly recommend eating here.

I used to work at a boba shop so when I know the tea is wrong it's wrong. I ordered a Ceylon Black milk tea with boba with less sweetness
When I tell you this beverage was undrinkable it was. I ended up dumping it when I got home 😭
The tea was probably made the previous day or early morning as the tea itself didn't taste good at all. Or it was burnt.
I have sensitive taste buds so I thought maybe it was just me. So I brought it home for my husband to try it
He couldn't drink more then one sip 😭
I love the atmosphere of this place and people are kind. But if you're gonna be paying 8+ for a drink I'd rather it actually be good.
Every time I come here to this location and the LT one I'm met with truly mid boba or outright undrinkable items.
I truly would never recommend this place for the drinks.
The pancakes are good if you have 20min to spare and hangout but also very overpriced

The place is very nice with lots of seating and games, but it’s dirty. The majority of tables have obviously not been wiped down for a while. The drinks are VERY sweet despite getting only 50% sweetness.

One of the dirtiest Miss Cheese , unenthusiastic employees. Out of service bathroom and I could go on and on but just avoid this location and go tot he one in little Tokyo …Better service and better food in that location .

Overall, I’d give this place a 3. Only because all the soufflés were undercooked and it took an hour for everything! I had ordered the Matcha Lover, which had tasted nice but the middle was just a no, because it tasted like egg batter it was quite mushy too. The pancakes came with barely enough Matcha sauce, I was just eating pancakes… I could’ve went to McDonald's and got a couple of hotcakes. Honestly, It is overpriced we spent $180 for only 5 people! Why are pancakes $20? They should only be $15 tops. I was looking forward to this, we drove for an hour and 15 minutes. Totally not worth it. I’d say the games had taken some time off and the atmosphere was cute and fun. If you were looking for a better café with delectable food, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you like undercooked pancakes and have extra time to wait around.

Miss Cheese is such a cute little spot with the best soufflé pancakes! I always get them with strawberries, and they’re perfectly light, fluffy, and delicious. I also really like their popcorn chicken… it’s super crispy and flavorful. Great place for a sweet treat or a snack!

Ordered matcha latte with soy milk and mousse. Cheese had a butterscotch taste, 75% sweet was way too sweet, soy milk must also be sweet, because I couldn’t drink it. Way too thick…
