I haven’t had a pinnapple vege soup this good since I lived in Cambodia. Absolute gem and quick service.
Absolutely obsessed with this Thai spot!
We stumbled upon it a while back and have been coming back ever since—countless times, and for good reason. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been a hit. The servers are kind, attentive just enough, and let you enjoy your meal without hovering—which I really appreciate.
As long as their doors are open, I’ll keep coming back. A true gem!
The service was super fast and efficient, making a seamless dining experience. The food was both filling and delicious, we ordered Pad Thai with prawns, green beans with garlic and butter (you need to order rice separately for that, and gyozas as appetizers. It all came out quite fast and was delicious.
The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is quite chilled and cozy.
Located in a vibrant area filled with shops and restaurants, finding parking can be a bit limited on the streets nearby. However, there are a few not expensive parking structure close by.
Love the ambiance! Their Thai green tea and spicy eggplant are AMAZING!!
Maybe it was an off day but I was unimpressed with the food for the price. We tried the crispy pork and the duck curry. Service was great, our waitress was attentive and friendly. Food came fast, portions were sizable. The ambiance was nice, cute little date place. The rice was cooked okay, the food was spiced okay. It was all decent. I feel like Pearl Thai nearby had better curry at a similar price but I would probably try again.
Excellent, went here on a whim after America's got talent and what an absolute treat.
Fantastic service and excellent food quality
Food's awesome and authentically good. Loads of veg options and you can choose anything and keep the meat and seafood out too. The chilly here is nippy so be careful when even ordering a medium option. I made the mistake but the folks here were kind enough to give me some peanut sauce to call things down. Hot tea for comfort!
Did not deliver one of our meals
A good place
Rating should be 3/5. Great service and decent food. I got the crispy pork with Chinese broccoli, the papaya salad and the drunken noodles. My favorite was the papaya salad. Very attentive staff and large food portions.

Can do vegan! Beef BBQ was a hit with my mate. Excellent service as well. Love this new version, perhaps new owners or mgmt from previous thai restaurant that was here. Give this place your business!!!
Vegetarian options: Just ask them if they can make a dish vegan and they will accommodate. So yummy!

This was my first time eating here. We were recommended by our son and daughter-in-law. All I can say is that we were not disappointed! Everything was fantastic! The service was impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Having a high score doesn't mean it's covered, there's a parking lot next door.
Green curry is delicious and not spicy at all
bbq The pork is delicious and you won’t get tired of eating it alone.
The Tom Yum soup tastes good, but the disadvantages are that there are too many mushrooms and the shrimps are not tasty.
Finally, let’s have mango sticky rice. If I didn’t tell you, I would have thought I was eating in Thailand.
The spiciness is adjusted just right, not like the spicy taste in Thailand

I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. This restaurant should actually be closer to a 4.6

Great location for lunch in the Pasadena area!
It's super convenient for me and my co workers and we usually come here when we are hankering for a sit down meal of Thai food. Plus, if you come during lunch during their happy hour, you get a free egg roll and drink with your entrée purchase! Their Thai tea and green Thai tea are both very sweet, so you might want to ask for less sweetener, but I like it, so no changes for me there!
I have been coming here a few years, hands down my favorite curry of theirs is the ruby curry, their portion decent that I sometimes can't finish it. I like more sweet curries, and this one hits all the right spots! There's plenty of vegetables and bell peppers with the cheaper options of chicken, veggie, tofu and then also beef and shrimp for an uncharge.
Service is friendly and pretty quick, as there usually not too much of a wait for everyone in our party to get their meals! For about 20$usd (including tax and tip and time of this review) I think is a reasonable price for a sit down meal in Pasadena!
Will continue to come here as long as I still find myself in the area wanting Thai food during lunch. There is a large parking structure on Green st (one way steet) and Fair Oaks, connected to the same block building as Moom Thai, so pretty easy parking, as you go downstairs of the Green St exit and it's just around the corner!
