Family has been coming here on and off for a couple decades now, and it’s been a relatively stable option. Until now. Did management just change? Because…. The food was absolutely the worst I have ever had from here. SUPER oily (my mouth still feels coated in oil), old rice, bad and weak flavors. All the chicken items tasted ofd and the tandoori chicken was flat out terrible. Absolutely none of it tasted like it used to even four months ago. We’re likely never to come back again. Eating out is expensive, and Indian food is definitely pricey. But these prices for this absolutely terrible food? Absolutely not.

This is an overpriced lunch buffet that under delivers. The selection is limited. The buffet menu almost never changes. The desserts selection is absolutely the worst. Some of the food does taste pretty good. Unfortunately, the few good items can never make up for all negative aspects. Avoid if possible.

What’s happened to this place. Food comes out cold, breads come out dry and appetizers are missed. The servers are inexperienced with dealing with tables of 6 and the management apathetic. Try other Indian places in the area instead.

Such an amazing lunch. The diversity of offerings, always fresh and alternating is such a treat. Comes with amazing fresh Naan , salad, fruit and dessert. This is my favorite weekday treat!! Best $20 lunch buffet in town truly

I'm not sure why people are complaining about this place. For a $19 buffet, the baked chicken and salad were running out when I arrived but new batches came out quickly. The chicken here is probably the most tender I've ever had at an Indian restaurant. Plus, I enjoyed the mushroom coconut curry.
I felt like their mango lassi was great, too, and I didn't get a weird aftertaste people complain about.
Since New Delhi Palace is located on the second floor of a plaza, there is a great view of the Pasadena streets outside.
There are oranges and rice pudding available for dessert.
I'd definitely come back!

Food on buffet was not fresh and looked like it was there for more than 1 hour and was half empty! The lamb curry was tuff to chew and bland! The chicken curry had red color added? The chicken tandoori was undercooked and I showed it to the server his response was because it was a thigh, he insisted that I should take a drumstick which was a smaller piece it would be well done !! I did have an upset stomach after 1 hour after eating from the buffet. So obviously the quality and hygiene was a concern, so I caution customers to check the buffet . Food was below average.

Came to this Indian restaurant for lunch. They offer an excellent buffet with high quality vegetarian options as well as a few chicken / tikka style plates. The naan is absolutely to die for, baked fresh to order and included in the price. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Aryan was especially great. Thank you for making my visit memorable. I was checked in on by everyone to ensure the food was meeting expectations, which it was, yum. They are located on the second floor of a plaza with vibrant open style windows facing the Angeles National Forest. A free parking lot is located directly behind. The views are beautiful and light up the restaurant. Classic Indian music is played that is very soothing. Felt as if I were in Mumbai. Looking forward to my next visit.

We showed up and called late with a party of 11 people on a Saturday night after seeing a show at the Icehouse. They were pretty much closed, but they stayed open for us and the owner was there. The food was delicious. They’re very friendly and it was just a beautiful business and we really appreciated it and highly recommend it to others. This has become our favorite spot after attending shows at the Ice House.
