Pretty good experience as a first timer. The shaved ice was delicate and tasted refreshing. The atmosphere was clean and cool inside. It's a nice hang out spot for local kids. I would return to try the strawberry.
Soooo tasty! The strawberry is the only way to go but the mango is a close second. It's sweet and light which means you can eat allot. The only gripe is the cost... 8 is high for some frozen flavored water.
simply yummy shaved ice, not too sweet, add on is available. I would say a single is enough for two. Highly recommended for a dessert option if u r looking for something other than ice cream around town.
🌟 Oakobing – Pasadena, CA
If you’re craving a sweet escape, Oakobing delivers a frosty dream in every spoonful. I tried the black sesame and strawberry shaved ice—each one a cloud of flavor, delicately layered with mochi and a drizzle of condensed milk. The texture? Feather-light and refreshingly crisp. Seating’s limited, so grab your treat and head to the cozy outdoor nook out back. Pro tip: skip the garage and snag metered parking nearby. A must-visit for Korean dessert lovers looking to chill in style.
Tastes great, Staff friendly, and nice vibe!
I used to get it from Phoenix, but now I get in here. Say that it's so good strawberry, my favorite, say thanks. You want to go there if you enjoy it, too
Taste was perfect. Sitting area and parking is a challenge(fee).
The place was packed when we arrived and there was a wait. I came on a Saturday night. There were a lot of people and a good number of tables, but not enough for a Saturday night.
We tried the melon and strawberry shaved ice. Both were good, especially when we added the milk and mochi. The melon tasted better.
There's street meter parking.
Interesting place that serves Korean shaved ice? The strawberry or melon ices are the ones that I think Taste the best. I don't love that. It's super small on the inside so seating is generally a problem if it's busy.
Sooo good especially on a hot day. The injeolmi (soybean powder) was my personal favorite. The mochi that comes with some of the flavor options has the perfect texture!!

Oh my heavens... this is divine. Puts Hawaiian shaved ice to shame (which used to be my favorite). I can't really describe it, it's like gently folded snow that isn't icy in the slightest. It's not terribly sweet either, which makes you want more. This was the best shaved ice experience I've ever had and I've had a lot.
Phenomenal creamy, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. Great service, clean space, and plenty of unique flavors to choose from.
So sad they got rid of the black sesame. The new milk one is not the same. Bring back the original black sesame
We'd never had Korean Shaved Ice cream before. The small size was plenty for me (it was about the same as three scoops of ice cream). They provide a little sweet and condensed milk with each order (we didn't realize this and unnecessarily ordered extra). It was great to try something new!
We ordered the mango melon bowl and strawberry milk. There was a lot so good to share. The only problem was we thought since it was ice, there would be no milk, but unfortunately it all contains milk so my daughter couldn't eat it. But she ate the melon. I had the rest. It was tasty. Just maybe earn customers that all ice is milk based. 🍨
