Pretty bomb. Just needs more Korean options. I’d like some some scallion rolls. Lol.
Rarely eat Korean food being the bad (half) Korean that I am. But saw this place & looked like a good, quick lunch to grab this week. Solid choice.ITEM'S ORDERED:Bibimpap (w/ bulgogi)&Spicy Chicken SoupTASTE:Flavor was definitely not lacking in either of these two dishes.Bibimpap comes with either bulgogi (my choice), spicy pork or fried tofu. The dish came out looking very nice with all the components of different colors portioned out on top of the rice in the bowl. It comes with gochujang (Korean chili paste) which you mix in with everything. The veggies were cucumbers, lettuce, carrots, pickled radish & bean sprouts. When you mix everything together you really get a flavorful bite. Meaty, savory & sweet from the bulgogi (beef). Fresh crunch from the veggies. Little extra sweetness & some spice from the gochujang. The Spicy Chicken Soup is basically exactly what the name implies in the best way. I was pleasantly surprised the spice didn't dominate the chicken flavor. You can really taste the comforting chicken soup flavor, which tasted very quality & "homemade". Inside the soup there's pieces of chicken as well as egg, leeks a little bit of noodles. The only thing that would of made the meal better would have been the inclusion of some banchans. Since this is a Korean meal afterall.SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING:Service was perfectly fine. Not the most "perky" I've experienced but not rude at all either. Food did not take long but when on a work lunch it "seemed" long. But that's just because everything was very fresh. Just an observation, not really a complaint. It's a smaller/medium sized restaurant with a good amount of tables given the size. There's no outside seating. They are located on Lake Ave (corner of Orange Grove Blvd) in a little strip mall. It's a simple interior with no real design going on.Parking is very easy since there is a lot the back of the restaurant. When I'm in the mood for some good quality Korean food at pretty fair prices, I'll make my way back here.
Saw this place driving by and stopped in. Really good Korean food and really nice people. My bibimbap was really tasty and filling, and they use fairly eco-friendly packaging. Will definitely be going back.
They serve big portions and for reasonable pricing. very welcoming owner. Highly recommended.
Go support this restaurant!!! Their Korean food will make you feel loved and comfortable. We've tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed!
It has the best Korean fried chicken in the Pasadena region. We also ordered kimchi pancake, katsu curry and bibimbap. They are all authentic and delicious as well! Highly recommend.
Wonderful place to have Korean home style dishes. Price is reasonable and taste is good.
Always delicious and packed with care. Love their food!
I live down the street from this place and boy am I glad! I hate to admit that I never noticed this place before but at the beginning for the pandemic when all the restaurants went to take-out only I decided to try it since its walking distance. Mmmm... tastes like good Korean Homecooking. I always go for the Korean Fried Chicken and Bulgogi Rice.
This place is the best mom and pop place around. There food is always delicious and they are willing to make it up if they make a mistake! They’ve got me as a customer for life!

DELICIOUS, WILL GO BACK TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE ON MENU!??.
Delicious! So, so good.
Orders to-go and they were delicious!! I love their fried chicken. Probably one of the best Korean Fried chicken available in Pasadena.
I went here to pick up late lunch. I wasn’t expecting much at all. I just wanted rice and didn’t want to get fastfood. Ordered bulgogi bibimbap and takoyaki. First of all, huge servings and I’m not small or a light eater. Both dishes were great . But the biggest surprise was the takoyaki. I don’t even like takoyaki, so Idk why I ordered that. I just thought the bibimbap wouldn’t be enough. I was wrong. I have plenty left. Going back to takoyaki, everything about it was perfect. It wasn’t undercooked. Perfectly cooked WITH generous portion of octopus inside topped with bonito flakes and all. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
Nice little Korean restaurant with my favorite Korean dishes
