We came for dinner and we got a fresh shirako with ponzu, a bento box and Premium Sushi Sets. Felt like the nigiris for the sushi set was just ok, the rice was a bit too hard and not flavorful. One of the nigiri piece I had also had a little fish bone in it…Loved the Uni and the fresh Shirako here. The uni we had was from Canada.I had a bit higher expectations for this spot since I been hearing lot of good things, but it didn’t meet my expectations.

We've fallen head over heels for Osawa Sushi! It's become our weekly ritual, and I must say, as a sushi enthusiast, this place never fails to tantalize my taste buds with the freshest and most delicious sushi creations. The miso soup is a perfect 10, and don't even get me started on the seaweed salad—it's a symphony of flavors! As for the sushi, the yellowtail and salmon belly are my absolute favorites, each bite bursting with flavor and melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Plus, the staff here are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Sitting at the bar adds an extra layer of excitement as we watch the skilled chefs craft culinary masterpieces right before our eyes. Trust me, Osawa Sushi is not just a restaurant—it's an experience worth savoring!

This place is my favorite restaurant. Osawa Restaurant consists of a sushi bar where you can enjoy shabu-shabu and regular tables. If you want to enjoy shabu-shabu, I recommend making a reservation in advance because the shabu-shabu seats are limited and always in high demand. One special thing about this restaurant is that they have a daily special menu, with each dish vividly representing the taste and atmosphere of mainland Japan, making diners feel like they're actually there. I've been here dozens of times, and each visit brings a pleasant surprise with different dishes, especially the seasonal fish and ingredients. Currently, Japanese snow crab is in season, and I enjoyed a delicious dish featuring Hokkaido snow crab as the main ingredient, along with other seasonal crab dishes, in a cozy atmosphere. The interior and pictures in frames exude a Japanese ambiance. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, recognizing and remembering my face whenever I visit, which always makes me feel welcomed and warm. Especially the manager, Mr. Shinji, is always friendly, professional with every menu item, and dedicated to the restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant, and I'm confident that anyone who visits will create good memories with good friends. If you're a foodie, want to experience the taste of mainland Japan, or simply love Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend dining here.Vegetarian options: If you'd like, customization for a vegetarian diet is possible. Just let the server know your preferences in detail, and they'll ensure you have a delicious meal tailored to your liking.

This Place is amazing! I went here with my family not too long ago and this place was authentic Japanese food.It was a little pricey but worth it, we ordered 2 sushi sets, beef udon, steak and salmon bento box, sukiyaki beef, spider roll, dragon roll, and assorted sashimi. Our waiter was super friendly and generous. Most of all, it was presented well, the food came quickly and it was fresh.I can’t wait to go here again!

The food is okay. But the service is bad. They don’t even bother to offer me a water/Diet Coke refill, or at least checking in on me to see if I need anything. And in the end they ask for a 18% tip for a $200 bill. Should have a given them a 0 tip for the service instead of 18%! Meanwhile I can’t help but noticing they are extremely attentive to white customers, checking in on them all the time, offer them pieces of free sushi, change their silverware… What’s more the greeter doesn’t greet you when you enter or leave. I have never experienced anything like this in LA…

All are made by chefs from Japan. The meals are authentic and the service is friendly. The delicious sushi and hot pot are well worth a special trip.
