This is one of the better Panera locations that I’ve been to across the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. Why? The short version: it’s clean here, has massive indoor space (38 indoor & 7 outdoor tables), the consistency/accuracy of food, management actually caring about how the store looks, as well as the timeliness of the orders coming out. Management and crew do an exceptionally good job here.A bit more detailed review. The most important factor to me: cleanliness. There are no strange/lingering odors. There is no trash/animal hair/crumbs/debris on the floor. It looks like it gets vacuumed every day or every other day at least. And they wipe down the tables on a regular interval throughout the day. I can’t tell you how many Paneras I go to and the carpets/floors are just filthy. It looks like you could catch something just by picking up your pencil off of the floor in those other places. The next most important factor for me is the ability to get a table regardless of the time of day. Even though sqft of this Panera isn’t crazy huge, they designed the layout of the seating area well. There are at least 38 indoor tables, 12 of which are cozy booth style, 1 of which is a large group/family style table that seats at least 12 people, approx 4-6 small group tables (seats 4 people, so you can really spread out), and the rest are individual/small tables. Plenty of options to. They have about 7 small tables outside. The other factors I mentioned above are not a big deal for me as I don’t mind waiting to get my food and I’m not picky when it comes to mistakes. But from what I notice, orders get completed in a timely manner and I rarely see or hear complaints from p-offed people. As you can tell, I spend a lot of time here studying and notice things.I wish they would just close later (like 9:30/10pm). The place is consistently filled with people well up until the last minute of closing. But they are nice and let people finish their meals. Labor costs and the increased chances of homeless people loitering later in the night - are most likely the reasons why they cannot close later. But if they wanted to, and advertised later hours, they would become a hot spot. The only study/dining spot in Pasadena that would be open after 9PM (that is both safe and offers quality food options). This area generally has some homeless people wandering around, but the store is away from the main street so they could potentially avoid that same issue that plagues most Starbucks cafes here. All in all, they do a good job here.

The soups are getting more and more salty.Quality of service is deteriorating:(The long hair Guy (@6:30PM March 10th 2024) who made the sandwich , showed me a chicken sandwich that flattened, thin barely see any chicken and looked as if it was a leftover without avocado. I told him I am a regular here , and would like him to remake a new one. He gave me a bad attitude and long face as if someone just dead from his family. And the newly made sandwich was twice of the volume, with veggies… can’t believe how bad the service has become.

This location is always out of bagels by noon. Not just some, but ALL of the bagels. Why not make more bagels if you keep running out? Only this location….

I like Panera Bread but this location was the best by far. I usually order the same thing at every store. So to see the difference in service and attention to your order being made is awesome. Most of the Panera Bread in L.A and surrounding area suck! Let’s not talk about Culver City our LAX location that just throws your food together (Terrible). I’m just glad that the team at this location cares. Thanks guys!Wheelchair accessibility: They’re ADA compliant.

As a entrepreneur and Indigenous person I am so sick of being stereotyped at all these Panera Bread.WITH all these NOSEY WHITE PEOPLE. Just because you see someone with luggage don't assume they are a bum. We are business owners traveling the world everyday experiencing new things and people! If we ask you for food as a Manager you shouldn't be so quick to kick us out. When we 1st got here while my wife was disciplining our daughter in the bathroom AND OLD NOSEY WHITE LADY began screaming at my wife and another employee that was in the restroom....Crazy...Then while I was smoking Marijuana outside 100 feet away my wife approached me stating the manager said we have to leave because someone complained....UNACCEPTABLE... After speaking with Chris the manager we were able to stay as long as we wanted..let me say this I didn't see any colored people at all! My wife spoke to an Ethiopian lady when we 1st arrived but no COLOR after that. Racism is unacceptable and frankly cowardly! This our land anyway! The manager also helped us with some quiche which wasn't good but it's fine..it was free... this Panera great if WHITE if Colored... BEWARE OF THE BULLSHIT

No complaints. I'm a sip club member and visit every other day or more. Nobody hassles me. Sometimes I grab a snack. Pastries are fresh. Workers are polite and service is fast.

One of my preferred locations to visit. Spacious, busy restaurant that does not seem to make an issue of profiling their customers when giving service.

I had hair in my salad, and luckily i caught it...horrible quality control here, the staff are just messing around and not careful with food prep. Bathroom smells like trash, no ice in the machines, dirty eating area...wheres the manager??? this place is a mess.

Love the new redo! Except for the corporate art on the walls. I miss the old bread art. The wallpaper art is nice, but the framed art doesn't match at all and is unpleasant Picasso-like

Food excellent.... Disturb grubhub charge me three times so I have a whole bunch of their food now but it was good. The tomato bread bowl is amazing! Sandwich ok and the Greek salad fire! I wish they would've gave me more chilis but now I know I'll be back... little pricey but worth the dollars$
