Pasadena Fish Market

Probably my first really negative review. I actually considered calling the health department. There is fish that isn't fresh and there is fish that has started to decompose, as in smelling and tasting like ammonia. I ordered takeout, so didn't know until I was home. I had to toss the fish! The sides were good though.

I went for the first time two weeks ago and ordered fried catfish greens and sweet potatoes and let me tell you all of that food was wonderful. Make you want to slap somebody. It was so good. I live in Los Angeles and I'm driving back to Pasadena to get me some more of this wonderful fish 🙏🏾🙌🏾💜

Food was good but wasn't as good as Pamona fish market. Only because of the prices, and you get four pieces of fish on a lunch special and the majority of the fish doesn't have bones or fins. The fish pieces are nice size if a piece of fish is small they will add an extra piece. At Pasadena fish market I had one nice size piece, one was all fins and bones the third piece had a lot of fin. Had to be careful eating all pieces due to fin and bones. Maybe I'm just spoiled eating Pamona fish and joys fish in moreno valley California. Fries ,hush puppies was great nicely seasoned. I would come back to try another type of fish.

The jerk chicken lunch was excellent. I nearly picked the box it came in clean.

Food here is amazing! I ordered the Jerk Chicken and Curry Goat and was NOT disappointed. The flavor was deep and the spice was PERFECT. I have a really high spice tolerance and for me the food had a perfect amount of heat and flavor. I can't wait to try the other menu items!

A nice fish market offering lots of fresh seafood and Jamaican cuisine. The fish are very fresh and cooked to order. They are mainly takeout and only have a single table in the corner for dining in. The Tilapia was delicious and not fishy at all. The Jamaican curried goat was also very tasty and satisfying. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Best to order ahead and takeout, since they cook things to order it can take around 15 minutes.

Fo real no cap. This place is the business. Southern and Caribbean flavors that'll have you right. Big variety of fresh fish at a reasonable price and portions are nice. I highly recommend Pasadena Fish Market if you got soul and love comfort.
