Came here for NYE. We were not aware there would be a prix fixe menu as it was not posted online as their Christmas Eve prix fixe was. Of the seven courses, the stand out was definitely the butternut squash soup. I would definitely order it again if it was featured on their main menu. Unfortunately each course was inconsistent to our expectations for the quality of the restaurant. The gougère cream puff was dry and unimpressive. For drinks we ordered the N/A French 75 and the Dirty Dill Martini. I highly recommend the martini. Ultimately, at the end we were full, but not fully satisfied with the meal.

We ordered a glass of 18.00 French Cabernet and a beer..The server brought the wine and poured a small stingy pour..the glass was not even half full! For 18.00?? I could have had a bottle for that!
We did not eat.The prices are ridiculous.Left because it took 15 minutes to get a beer. I won't go back to try the food...

It was Christmas Eve. We had a reservation, but we waited at the bar for 20 minutes and no one showed us inside. There are a couple arrived later than us, but they got a seating after only a couple of minutes of wait. I don’t know if they’re racist or something, but I’m not going to visit this place again.
Good food and staff. Atmosphere was nice. Would give them 5 stars however they charge a 4% “living wage” fee. I’m tipping 22% on a 300 dollar meal, I don’t need you to charge me even more to pay your staff. Adjust your prices if you can’t pay them enough.

I don’t know why Michelin stars don’t pour into the street when you open the door of Perle. As in awarded every year because keeps getting better.

Perle was long on my list, and finally an opportunity presented itself without any effort. The interior is nice, the staff was attentive. The Coq-au-Vin was good, but I would not say stellar. The apple tart for dessert was overall oversized and lacked sophistication.

This was such a wonderful surprise! Classic French bistro but also had delicious vegan options and great cocktails.

I wouldn't say this is a French restaurant. It may have some French influences. The NY strip was flavorful, fries and cocktail was good but those are basic... everything else was average. Didn't meet our expectations.
Brought myself here for my birthday during Dine LA week. It’s gorgeous inside with comfortable seats at the bar. Paúla behind the bar was excellent and I’m still dreaming of the leeks with Dijon and lardons.

Cozy settings with attentive but not overbearing wait staff. Duck liver was a favorite out of the whole meal. Cod was a bit overcooked and on the salty side. Nicely curated wine list with generous pour. I just might come back to have duck live with a glass of champagne!!

Lovely French restaurant in the heart of Old Town Pasadena. Loved everything, from the warm bread with butter, to the great drinks and the stand out dish - the Dover Sole (would skip the croutons, though). Also, the octopus would taste better with a different paste underneath (the cauliflower was overpowering). Overall, still 100% recommend this place.

Loup de Mer disappointment
Branzino should be delicate, flaky, and mild — with crisp skin and simple seasoning. What I got was thin, mushy, dry, and fishy fish, drowned in a heavy creamy sauce that tried to hide its flaws.
Either they ran out of branzino and substituted a cheap fish without telling customers, or the chef completely mishandled it. Either way, it’s disrespectful to diners.
Only redeeming part was the crème brûlée — truly excellent.

I went for my birthday, I absolutely adore french food, the food was so flavorful. The location reminded me of restaurants I've been to in nyc, and the food was so good it took me back to paris all over again. I couldn't decide wether to get the tarte tartin or soufflé so I got both! I was impressed with everything the staff was kind. I would definitely go back again!
