The entire experience was flawless and a wonderful way to celebrate Thanksgiving. The whole team, including the manager, were gracious and attentive. And, the meal was the best I've had all year out of all the fine restaurants I've dined at in both Orange and LA county. The bread was freshly baked, warm out of the oven and we had the endive salad, sea bass and the lamb. Highly recommend considering this spot!
My husband and I absolutely LOVE Pez Coastal Kitchen. From the extremely creative meals prepared by Chef Bret to the fresh ingredients and the excellent service, we have returned time & time again!!
Really great place. Handsome decor and style, comfortably upscale vibe and ambiance. Truly outstanding cuisine from starters to raw/cold seafood to large and shareable entrees. Seared Tuna was incredible as were the scallops. A tad pricey but worth it.
Love this place, pleasant spacious interior. Thoughtful bar program, delicious N/A options. Caesar salad is delicious - anchovy heavy, which I love. Dry-aged ceviche needs more fish. That’s my only complaint. I had sea bass prepared in a German inspired style with sauerkraut, pan fried sausage, and potatoes. It was delicious!

Ambiance great, service great, food taste decent, (ribs 9/10 and seabass 8/10).
Dinner for two cost almost $200, on the pricey side.
Sadly, after last night's experience, we will not dine there again. We waited 30 mins before the hostess (yes) arrived to ask if someone had taken our order. She offered to get drinks and appetizers started. We finished our appetizers, waited another 30 minutes for someone to take our order before deciding to leave. I finally found the hostess coming out of kitchen, told her about the lack of service and asked for our check. When she brought check (no discount) she told us they only had one waitress for the whole restaurant. She processed our payment sat it down. As she began to walk away, I asked if she was the manager? She said yes. I reiterated the service was really bad and said you are still charging us full price with no courtesy discount. She said, I am giving you 2 drink coupons on your next visit. We said thank you and left the drink tickets on the table.
Food was excellent! The standouts were the Grilled Octopus over Thai papaya salad, the lightly Fried Yellowtail collar and Seared Scallops with mushroom and black truffle risotto. Just stunning. Service was friendly, accommodating and patient. The dining room and bar were inviting, comfortable and immaculately clean.
Beautiful interior in DT Passadena. Service is good the food is good and the price is very fair.
We had a delightful brunch at Pez Coastal Kitchen. The cocktails were perfect. Our starters and salads and main course was perfectly, artistically plated and delicious. Our server, Michelle, was delightful. We will be coming back.
We were seated at a quiet table allowing conversation to flow within our group. The servers were very attentive and made sure our needs were met. We appreciate their recommendations over specials of the day and ordering for the table instead of individually.

We passed by PEZ and were drawn in by the restaurant’s lovely ambiance, so we decided to walk in. We ordered oysters, seafood pasta, scallops, and dessert — everything was delicious, no misses at all. The dessert, a citrus olive oil cake, was especially unique with its refreshing sweet and tangy flavor. The elderly gentleman who served us was very attentive and kind. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with plenty of comfortable sofa seating. Overall, we were very satisfied — it’s a great spot for a date or a casual hangout with friends.

Really savory food with that umami! So impressed! The Chef even made a special side dish when I asked for some sugar snap peas they had in the kitchen. Very tasty food and so accommodating. The music was very enjoyable and not too loud. I had to Shazam two of their songs because it was so hip. Wonderful place.
Nice room, large tv sets above the bar are distracting. It's not meant to be a sports bar. Food was ok, seemed pricey and not particularly memorable .
We're recent arrivals to town and are thrilled that Pasadena has many great restaurants. This is our favorite. The food is remarkable. We love the whole fish, the octopus, the trout rillette and the pork chop is amazing. Their special events are great. We ate here for Thanksgiving last year and absolutely loved it. The service is always warm and welcoming. Truly the best in Pasadena.
Octopus, scallops, and the fetachini with muscles and clams! What a dinner! The service, food and atmosphere were spectacular. If I lived here, this would be a regular spot. Cocktails were spot on.
