Salsa Picante Restaurant is a delicious place to have authentic Mexican food. We had a delicious savory dinner that included shredded beef and fish tacos, a carnitas burrito and a tasty chile relleno. Not clearly visible but a nice place to enjoy a great meal.

Excellent food! The interior is a bit bare bones but the entrepreneurial owner cooks up a fiery and tasty storm of traditional mexican dishes. We had carnw asada and enchiladas verdes - delish! Totally worth a drive to Pasadena

The food was so delicious that I couldn't believe there wasn't more people there while we ate there. This place should be much more popular as the food was absolutely top notch! I wish I would have stopped in and checked them out before. I highly recommend this awesome home cooked food being served by the friendliest, sweetest, kind people. This place is a well kept secret that should be in the spotlight. Birria and chimichanga were to die for.

It has an authentic mexican feel to the atmosphere that will not make everyone happy- but they can goto the chains. This place is for me and my family and my friends.
