Pizza is very good. I wish I could have tried several variations of pizza, but ours was good. The meaty could have used more pepperoni.

Wow! Love the pizza here! As all ex New Yorkers, I too am guilty of considering myself an authority on what is good pizza, and this pizza is very good. Very good, in the thin crust NY way. These pies have what I would call, by California standards, an Exceptionally thin crust. Which we New Yorkers like. Pie Life's crusts deliver a great balance of crispness to chewiness. Strong enough to support any topping, yet soft enough to give a very satisfying chew. In addition to selling whole pies, Pie Life also sells pizza by the slice, featuring a differently topped slice of the day, each day. The day I was there the "PBJ" was featured that's Pepperoni, Bacon and Jalapeño. An excellent combination perfectly executed. I will be definitely be coming back for more. Note There is a small parking lot, which is nice. Also: there is very limited space for dining, just a few small tables that line the side of a narrow balcony. OK for one or two people who are just grabbing a slice. If you are planning on sharing a whole pie with a few people, you'll on want to take it home and "spread out" as a good friend of mine from New Orleans always says when we sit down to a meal together...

The Sicilian with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms is OUTSTANDING! Highly recommend pizza!!!

Best pizza in Pasadena! I lived in NY for 29 years and Pie Life is the first pizzeria in California I’ve given my “New York seal of approval” to lol. Amazing pizza, quality ingredients, very friendly staff. My favorite slices are the pepperoni Sicilian, the warehouse and the white slice! : )

Pizza is not even close to New York style! Pizza dough is rubbery and the marinara taste watered down with no flavor or spice! 18" pizza is 30.00 plus - so overpriced for the poor quality and taste!!! Disappointing

Objectively, it's mediocre California pizza. If you are a native New Yorker and missing home, this isn't it.

Very good NY style pizza. We ordered couple pizza and cheesy garlic bread - all delicious. The crust was not floppy. I ordered take out and it was ready on time.

Amazing is all I can say! These slices remind me of the wonderful thin pizza I ate in the south of Italy near my family home. The only exception is they weren't served by barefoot children of the owner who worked away happily sending out the freshest food to his busy trattoria. The only thing missing was the sunny side up egg on top! Delicious hot thin crispy not salty perfect crust I only dreamt of UNTIL NOW! Delicious topping and not overly piled on just right in every way! Thank you to Steven next door the BEST MASSAGE ever so take your time to get the package deal of a pizza a slice (or two) and a massage with Steven! It's the best part of Pasadena or heaven as I call it, worth every mile I drove to get there. You will thank me in your review too. ENJOY!! Grazie tuti

The pizza was really good. New York style. Had to sit next door at another cafe but it was nice. Prices were reasonable special 2 slices and a soda was like $12 or maybe less.

Grade B (85): I like the fact that you can get the pizza by the slice, it's a bit expensive but tastes good, nothing special. The Margherita pizza was just a pizza regular cheese pizza with julienned Basil, not a very good interpretation of the cosign. You can sit and eat the pizza next door at the Coffee shop, you can even order the pizza from there! The coffee shop has a better selection of drinks though, next time I order the pizza and get the drinks from the coffee shop.

Pretty good pizza, not that greasy. The only bad part was topping sliding off. Seats are outside and limited. Also limited parking, good thing we parked on the streets.

Good pizza! Quick service. Affordable price. I ordered three different slices. Meaty, Sicilian & pepperoni. The meaty and pepperoni were both fresh very thin crusted slices. Not very greasy either. The Sicilian was excellent. Perfect crispy crust, topping amount, and oil drip. Seating-outdoor seating only with a few tables and one long counter . Parking- shared lot with a coffee shop. 10 total spaces but plenty of street parking Service-Friendly and attentive

this is really NOT ny style. crust isn't nearly thin enough to make the grade. it's also really bland, like imported directly from the Midwest. i did enjoy that the crust was perfectly crispy on the bottom.

I seriously don't get it. If you put NY style pizza on your bumper - then you should know what you're tethering your business reputation to. The pizza is thin - yes...however the sauce is insipid and crust is painfully plain. Meats were good. Just stunning that you charge 300% more than Whole Foods down the block which is imo superior.
